Technology plays a pivotal role as it helps expedite processes and automate operations for managing remote workers with complete ease. With this, the lives of management and employees get easier while paving a path for a smooth ride in the industry.

  • Employee Morale and Mentorship:

Perception is a significant issue for leaders. Therefore, it is wise for employers to decide how they want their staff to view them.

Irrespective of how employees choose to be viewed, it is wise to value and appreciate your work persons as it boosts their morale and productivity. This factor further enables employees to go above and beyond and take accountability for a project.

Yep, and another reason that I keep coming back to this leadership blog … because I get to read a variety of articles, many from guest writers with different perspectives. In this case, Ms. Baker puts a lot of emphasis on technology. And, technology is important but like always, it is a tool. It is up to the human to make it work, and don’t forget the basic rule about technology, it will fail at some point, and it always does fail at the worst time. Be aware of this problem, or you will get caught short.

Hi Emily, if I had been you, I would have focused my entire article on “Employee Morale and Mentorship.” This is the most important part of your post here and it deserves a fuller treatment. I know you can do it. Perhaps in the future you could concentrate on it. thanks for reading my positive criticism.

A pleasure to read your articles. Ms. Baker, you’ve certainly made my day with your article. However, I am a bit confused by this, “Perception is a significant issue for leaders. Therefore, it is wise for employers to decide how they want their staff to view them. Leaders generally choose a combination of string, stoic, loud-mouthed, and closed-off. ” What do you mean. The last sentence is very confusing.

I was thinking the same thing. The message here is good but the words she uses doesn’t pull everything together. Best to proof read before sending it out for publication. More clarification needed.

Good points Lady Hawk and Gil J. I too saw this. Ms. Baker does a great job, but she should be careful to communicate clearly. Be precise with your words. If they can be misinterpreted or misunderstood in a first reading, then best to re-word it to make more sense. Just my opinion.
