[July 14, 2025] Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is enamored with being on America’s highest court. It would seem that being nominated by an unpopular and questionably competent President would humble her somewhat.
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson likes being a member of the Supreme Court. In an interview at the Global Black Economic Forum on Tuesday, Jackson enthusiastically submitted that her role accords her an opportunity “to explain my views about the way our government does and should work” and “to tell people, in my opinions, how I feel about the issues.” — National Review’s Charles C. W. Cooke, July 10, 2025
For background, in Trump v. American Federation of Government Employees, the Supreme Court authorized President Trump to exercise his lawful authority. It sounds redundant to say so, but it follows that each of the three branches of government is accorded lawful authority under the Constitution. This sounds almost radical.
Yet, Justice Jackson feels that the judiciary should rule over Congress and the Presidency.
Perhaps you think I am being unfair to Jackson? If so, I would draw your attention to the criticisms that have been leveled at her during just the last two weeks. In a decision released on June 27, Justice Amy Coney Barrett felt obliged to chide Jackson for having penned a dissent that was “at odds with more than two centuries’ worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself”; for having ignored “conventional legal terrain” in favor of issuing “a startling line of attack” that was not “tethered . . . to any doctrine whatsoever”; and for having denigrated the work of the majority opinion and the principal dissent as “boring ‘legalese’” that was obsessed with a “mind-numbingly technical query.”
It is better to be humble as the new justice and not know the unwritten rules, as a violation thereof can bring a sharp rebuke from your colleagues. Justice Jackson would do well to be more circumspect, at least until she establishes her bona fides.

Please read my books:

Dang it, she’s an idiot.
Second hand embarrassment for women. 😱
Anita, I think it’s worse than just embarrassing to have someone who is a “diversity hire.” And a poor performer at that. This gives many people more ammunition to exclude women from key roles in society. And they have a great case for that argument.
“Jackson received a $893,750 advance for her memoir and is now reporting $2 million in profits last year. These would be record numbers for a Supreme Court Justice’s biography from a book that hardly anyone had noticed when it came out. And while books can become unexpected successes once released, there was little sign of that happening.” from Gatestone Institute (read from Gen. S’s DAILY FAVORITES).

She is corrupt as well as stupid. And she is the classic anti-American to make things worse. She thinks she is queen of America but she is not fit to run a hot dog stand in New York City.
Also, Penguin is actually Bertelsmann: a German ex-Nazi publishing giant that has waged war on American parents, promoted racism and is trying to monopolistically gobble up all of American publishing. Ibram X. Kendi’s “How to Be an Antiracist”, Robin DiAngelo’s “White Fragility”, Ta-Nehisi Coates’s “Between the World and Me”, and, during WWII, “The Christmas Book of the Hitler Youth” all came out of Bertelsmann.
There’s a pattern here. I wonder what it is?
What is most sad about this situation is that Ketanji Jackson is showing us that blacks are incompetent in a job that requires the highest degree of intelligence, emotional stability, professionalism, and stoicism. She doesn’t cut it. The other liberal justices are tired of her writing her “feelings” into her rebuttals. And I say rebuttals because she is always on the losing end of any of SCOTUS’s decisions. Joe Biden was a pandering fool for saying he nominate “appoint a black female” for this position. It shouldn’t be about your skin color or sex. Too bad that Joe Biden didn’t get the message that in America, we don’t like discrimination.
So So So, true. Justice Jackson is making a fool out of herself. And she is embarrassing other professionals who see her for what she is …. a diversity hire.
Yes, strong words but very true.
Sir, thank you for helping expose incompetence.
National Review’s Cooke does a great job of exposing what happens when the unqualified become someone we must rely upon for fairness and honesty. We will get neither from SCOTUS Jackson. She will be part of the movement for judges to inject their radical victimhood feelings into everything. Let’s hope that we get more takedowns.
Sir, thank you for pointing out what the rest of us are thinking. Whenever we see people promoted to a position that they are either unqualified for or who skip the traditional pathways to a position, then that person loses all respect. And, of course, rightly so. Justice Jackson is the classic DEI hire and was appointed by brain dead Biden. But I don’t think he did it. The appointment was done as a favor for blacks in America to keep supporting the Democrat Party. Un-American? Yes! This virtue signaling by radical left Democrats will continue to haunt Americans for decades.
SMH… FJB who was totally incompetent.
OUCH
The ghosts of that evil man will echo thru time for generations. FJB 🤮
