Moral Courage: Trevor Williams

By | June 19, 2023

[June 19, 2023]  Washington Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams speaks out against the Woke LA Dodgers, who recently honored the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence.  The Dodgers were virtue signaling over Pride Month like many professional baseball teams have been doing this year.  Williams was surely warned not to do this, and I’m sure his career was threatened.  Under these circumstances, it takes moral courage to stand against the anti-Catholic, anti-Christian hate group.

Williams put out a statement on Twitter denouncing the Dodgers for celebrating the hate group.  So far, the May 30 tweet has gotten over 19.6 million views and tens of thousands of likes.

“To invite and honor a group that makes a blatant and deeply offensive mockery of my religion, and the religion of over 4 million people in Los Angeles county alone, undermines the values of respect and inclusivity that should be upheld by any organization.” – Trevor Williams

Honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence explicitly goes against the Dodgers code of conduct, and Williams is right to tell them so.  The LA Dodgers code of conduct doesn’t mean anything regarding Woke ideology.

“We cannot stand idly by while our Lord gets mocked.” – Trevor Williams

The LA Dodgers sports executives are clueless and everyone, except them, knows it.  Their actions are a purposeful PR disaster that will haunt them for years.  As expected, this has not gone down well with the Woke media which is spinning this slow-moving disaster to label those of us like Williams as bigots.

Stand fast, Mr. Williams.  Your moral courage is spot-on and inspires us all.  And we love you for it.

Loving Trevor Williams for speaking his mind. Let us hope he does not cave to the nasty, immoral woke crowd.

Right Dale. Let us hope we start to see more MLB players and executives and owners speaking out.

Gen. Great article 👏. The Philly player is correct. If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything

The day after this disgusting display of hatred for the Catholic and Christian religions, the LA Dodgers lost 15-0. The players on the LA Dodgers’ team threw the game. I guess their management rejected his OWN team’s faith and this was the end result.

Yeah, Armywife. Saw that too…not the game, read about it online. I’ll never watch the Dodgers again, ever.

God Bless the USA and thank you all here on this site for your wisdom and willingness to stand against perversion and mental illness and those who mock religion and religious peoples.

God Bless, Trevor Williams and his family. My message to the LA Dodgers is for them to get over their shallow ‘virtue signaling’ and grow a pair and reject their stupid wokeness. That way and offering to apologize for their behavior and withdrawing them honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (name says a lot), can they ever get back into the good graces of their fans. I bet they ever serve Bud Light at their games. Bud Light the queer beer.

Hi Yusaf, simple, straightforward, and spot on as usual. Thank you sir. And, to Gen. Satterfield, it is appreciated that you are willing to quickly label Trevor Williams as a person of good character and morally courageous. He deserves that recognition from a real leader. Well done.

FL Gov Ron DeSantis came out against the perverted mental patients of SPI. Good for him.

Yes! Simple and direct. Gen. Satterfield rarely points out moral courage but when he does, wow, and the nailed it with MLB pitcher Trevor Williams.

Once again, a spot-on article by Gen. Satterfield. National Pitcher Trevor Williams has made himself into a household name and hero of Christians because he was willing to put his career on the line to take a stand against perverts and child groomers.

Yep, hero for sure. At least a hero of mine. He is the kind of strong man that the world needs, especially a weakening America.
