100 Days at War: Israel vs Hamas

By | January 15, 2024

[January 15, 2024]  TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto reports from the battlefield on the Israel-Gaza War while on duty with the IDF.  In his video from five days ago (link here), Pinto outlines Israel’s war objectives.  He says that his country aims to “dismantle Hamas.”  This war is more than Israel vs Hamas; it is Israel vs the uncivilized world.

“Nobody will stop us.” – Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu, in a defiant speech marking 100 days of war

This video is one of Pinto’s best.  He spells out what many of us thought were the military objectives and how they plan to achieve them.  His list of “goals” is of vital importance to Israel, Israel’s allies and potential allies, the Western world, and those who wish to destroy state-sponsored terrorism.

These objectives are centered around dismantling the military capability Hamas has built over the past decade.  To do so, it is crucial to understand how Hamas works and that its Center of Gravity is protected by being in the vicinity (under and in) critical civilian infrastructure like hospitals, kindergartens, mosques, schools, civilian homes, and such.  Hamas purposefully uses Palestinian civilians as human shields.  Israel takes all reasonable steps to prevent Hamas from using the population as shields for their operations.

The two central goals of the nation of Israel are 1) the return of the hostages and 2) to dismantle Hamas (meaning destroy it).  These are their moral and “supreme missions.”  Israel’s five military ways to achieve these goals are to:

  1. Eliminate Hamas Commanders: Damaging the command-and-control system of Hamas.  Destroying those commanders makes it difficult for Hamas to fight in a coordinated manner and reduces their morale.  It has led to the surrender of many Hamas fighters.
  2. Face-to-face Fighting in the field against Terrorists: The IDF enters with a combined force of Infantry, Engineering, Armor, Artillery, Air, Intelligence, Medical Rescue Units, and Special Units.  They surround an area and close in quickly to reduce the ability of Hamas to fight back effectively.
  3. Gather Intelligence Underground: Locating maps, computers, and radios, the IDF identifies Hamas identities in and outside the Gaza Strip.
  4. Locate and Destroy Rockets and Weapons: This focuses on the sites in which they were manufactured.
  5. Destroy the Underground Infrastructure: To combat the underground infrastructure, first, they are located, and then specially trained forces are sent in to blow up the tunnels.

According to Pinto, these five main ways to achieve their goals have been mainly achieved in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.  The next main effort will be to focus their attention on the central part of Gaza.  Lessons learned from the fighting so far will be applied to the total destruction of Hamas.  It’s a job that will take time, and Israel is preparing for this now.

Bless the country of Israel. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why so many Americans support the terror group Hamas.

Because they are stupid and EVIL. A dangerous combination that is proving that when combined there will be great destruction and death.

I also stand with Israel. They have the right to defend themselves and the nutjobs who think they should stop and have a love feast with Hamas are, well, nutjobs.

Pro-Palestinian protesters chant ‘f–k Joe Biden,’ damage fence outside White House

Non-essential personnel were evacuated from the area as a precaution as the aggressive demonstration ramped up, the Secret Service confirmed. Video shows the crowd shaking the fence so viciously that a section of it became partially dislodged while a horde of Secret Service police pushed back to keep the ralliers from entering the grounds. Some protesters hurled water bottles and the sticks broken off their Palestinian flags at the officers, while others tried to climb the fence.

What this article is about, is the military strategy, which differs a little from the national strategy of Israel. What Pinto did not say was one of the ways to achieve these goals was also to keep Hezbollah terrorists and other Iranian proxies at arms length while accomplishing these five tasks. The national strategy should also be talked about. Now that would be very interesting.

BC, we all do, at least those of us who are sane and have any idea of what happens when you allow a tyrannical, terrorist organization to run amok. This is why we have universities. But these institutions have failed us, just like the three anti-Semites who ran MIT, Harvard, and UPenn. Two have already resigned, one more to go. When you put someone in charge because of the color of their skin or their gender, this is what you get. And, women in senior places have made a mockery of their organizations and are usually incompetent in those positions.

Well said, Janna. Let us take back our institutions of learning and that includes from the kindergarten level and up.

Truly, this is not a war against Hamas but against EVIL incarnate with Iran, Russia, China, North Korea, Cuba, and other communist-inspired nations that would do anything to tear down democratic countries and instill their form of tyranny. And the CRAZY youth suck it up and love it.

Sad but true. Their position requires zero thinking, and they are automatically seen as morally and intellectually superior to everyone who disagrees with them. That is a very dangerous place to be.

Great comment, Maximilian. This is what is most problematic with any ideology, to explain complex phenomena with simple, one-dimension solutions. This doesn’t work, never has worked, and never will work. The pajama wearing snowflakes who are out protesting against Israel are the same folks who would be thrown off the roof of a building by Hamas operatives.

Indeed, that is right and true. This is why our nation is headed into the gutter. The problem is that this communist Marxist ideology will destroy us.
