[July 28, 2025] At its core, propaganda is designed to target your emotions and distort the ability to make logical, informed decisions. In war, propaganda has a central role, often exceeding the value of large military formations. In Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza, we see this played out daily.
The latest anti-Israel propaganda is trying to paint the picture that its “war on the Palestinians” is preventing food, medical, and other critical supplies from reaching the population. Starvation is the result, so says the Hamas Health Ministry.
In Hamas’ latest propaganda effort to capitalize on weak journalism 
in the West, we saw a photograph of what appeared to be a sickly, starving child in the arms of its mother. The photo was seen millions of times on social media, and the outpouring of anti-Israeli sentiment skyrocketed. Many asked, How could Israel cease food and medical supplies from reaching people experiencing poverty in Gaza?
The truth was lost along the way. On his X account, investigative journalist David Collier writes, ” This is not the face of famine. It is the face of a medically vulnerable child whose tragic situation was hijacked and weaponised.” He exposes the truth behind Mohammad Al-Matouq’s ‘famine’ image.
“You’ve seen the photo. A starving Gazan child. Bones showing. Headline after headline claiming it was proof of famine. It ran on the front page of the Daily Express on 23 July. Then Sky News, CNN, NYT, BBC, Guardian, and others picked it up. But they left something out. 2/13”
Collier claims the propaganda to be false and purposefully misleading, tugging at the hearts of all Westerners. It turns out that Mohammed has cerebral palsy, hypoxemia, and a genetic disorder. All adding up to his distraught physical appearance. And, Collier has the medical receipts to back up his claim.
The problem for Israel is that the media failed to report this, and instead, several, like the BBC, reported that Mohammad’s curved spine was due to famine. It was not.

Food and medical supplies are being blocked, and Hamas is stealing those shipments arriving. Hamas is hijacking food distribution and uses this as a tool to control the population.
“Let’s call this what it is: The UN, UNRWA and other NGOs are not prioritising the safety of Palestinian civilians or getting aid to a population in need of food. Instead, they push a political agenda that aligns with the survival of Hamas. They want starving kids. 10/13”
Once again, Western media lies for Hamas. Collier believes that it’s because they hate Israel so much that anything that targets Israel cannot be a lie.
One person on X named Allegro Viace commented, “Have you ever seen a malnourished Hamas terrorist? No? Nor have I. ” This is a powerful comment and spot-on.
Now, we are seeing the Israeli Air Force start to drop supplies by air. They realize the effectiveness of the propaganda war being waged against them and are trying to stay ahead of it.

Nothing like a good story and Gen. Satterfield has it all here. It turns out that these “feel good” stories are just what we thought they might be. LIES. And too many folks want to believe those lies and will do everything in their power to beleive the lies. Kinda like believing Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack.”

Hamas is EVIL and there is no parsing that fact. Make up sh## and hide the fact that Hamas controls the Gaza. People through force, coercion, and intimidation. Sir, thanks for a short summary of the key point that too many of us in the civilized world are so weak and spoiled that we believe a seventh century terrorist organization like Hamas over an established democracy with a track record of progress in all fields of an advanced civilization. How absolutely crazy that is. Well, I can legitimately say that we do have to do something about it and the place to start is in the school system that long ago was taken over by radical communists.
Sad how so many in the West fall for what is an obvious set of lies and distortions of what is really happening. But I actually think many Westerners believe with their weak hearts that the propaganda is true and Israel is undertaking a genocide.
