The Twelfth 9/11 Anniversary (Updated)

By | September 11, 2013

[September 11, 2013]  Today marks the 12th year since the multiple, horrific attacks that put the United States on a path to weeding out an enemy who had long been against all things western.

Today we honor those who were killed and wounded in this attack and to say thank-you to the men and women who have put their lives and livelihood on the line to fight the Islamic extremism that instigated this attack.  The United States remains strong and we are vigilant. The “long war” continues.

(Updated at 5:45pm)  After spending the morning at Ft McNair, Washington DC, I left for home in NYC.  On my way out of DC, I saw hundreds of bikers headed into downtown to honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the military called to serve after the attacks.  A great big thank you to all the bikers who are supporting America by riding through the streets of DC.
