Council for a Strong America

[July 12, 2015] When we look at worthwhile organizations and their vital missions, one that rises to the top is Council for a Strong America. As readers of theLeaderMaker.com already know, I like to highlight non-profit and volunteer groups that help our military veterans and strengthen our country. Council for a Strong America (CSA) is about “working together to prepare young Americans for success.”1 There is certainly no doubt about what they are working to achieve.

The CSA is an umbrella non-profit for five other non-profits that are made up of leaders in business, military, law enforcement, faith, and sports environments. Those organizations are:

There are two things that have attracted me to this organization. First, they are highly interested in a strong America and they do this by making the success of children a priority. Second, they accept no money from local, state, or federal agencies. There are many who believe that the strength of the United States is not so much in its government but in its free and hard-working people. In this, I wholeheartedly agree.

CSA membership organizations address public policy issues of interest to members of each organization and specifically relates to the strength of our nation. They do this by engaging in many activities including research and publishing reports to the public, press conferences, writing opinion pieces in the media, and engaging with policy makers to educated them on how to invest in children.2

Special thanks to all those who are part of the Council for a Strong America.
