Discussing IQ Scores and Intelligence

[June 7, 2025] I was fortunate to have close friends who were really smart and willing to help me use their intellectual skills. And, of course, they all had high IQ scores, I know because I could tell. We often sat around discussing various topics, those as political, moral, and religious ideas.

I believe that if it were not for them, I would not have succeeded in life. But I also learned from my intellectual friends that their lives were not so easy. Part of the reason that smart people are not readily accepted is the myths and propaganda surrounding the IQ issue.

“IQ is very biologically determined.” — Dr. Jordan Peterson

IQ is the best predictor of academic, managerial, and line worker performance. In other words, the smarter someone is, the more productive they become.

No one likes this fact.

So many hate IQ tests because it’s unfair and anti-equality to admit that there is wide variation in the trait that is the best predictor of long-term success in complex occupations.

“The [IQ measure] cards are not dealt out evenly.” — Dr. Jordan Peterson

This is reluctantly accepted as fact—genetics matter. If you have smart parents, then you’ll likely be smarter than the average person, but probably slightly less smart than the average of your parents.

The problem for us, especially those with a highly compassionate personality, is that IQ is rather resilient and thus mostly unchangeable. All these promises from companies claiming to increase your IQ are not true; at least, there is no evidence supporting this.

No one has figured out how to increase IQ.

IQ can be maintained longer as you age through cardiovascular and weight exercises, proper nutrition, and sleep. IQ can be suppressed easily by not stimulating young children to the degree they need. Also, not breastfeeding an infant makes them less smart.

The question of IQ, who is better cognitively and who is not, is upsetting to many. IQ is the ultimate predictor of long-term success in life. The other troublesome aspect of IQ is that it is easy to measure, and there is a high variation in IQs.

IQ is not associated with morality.

Someone with a high IQ is not necessarily a better person. The temptation that comes with intelligence tends toward personal glorification and the high praise for or idolization of others who are smart. This is a character flaw warned about in ancient mythology (the Lucifarian Temptation).

There is a massive difference between people at the upper and lower ends of the distribution. The former are radically more productive and useful for their community and nation.

These facts about IQ continue to create shock waves among those who have compassionate and equality virtues.

Gen. Satterfield, spot on about IQ. People get upset over the subject because the facts on the ground run counter to the prevailing Leftist narrative- ideology – that says we’re all alike, and we just need all the same opportunities. But that is not the case and that explains Leftists heads exploding. 🤮

I can completely understand why this topic is so controversial. When any area of study runs counter to the current and dominant ideology, emotions of the most dedicated are going to flair up.

Most folks are too scared to discuss the problem we have with determining IQ in order to help, people find their useful place in an ever-increasing technological society.

That’s why our advanced academia is failing. They face their own Luciferian choices.

    Sir, you nailed it here:

    …………
This quote is berry very controversial in “science” communities because today’s social scientists are actually SJWs and interested in elevating themselves morally over advancing our knowledge about the human condition. I won’t trust 99% of them. Dr. peterson, however, is a real gift to the West and America. Too bad for Canada who prosecuted him, now, the downfall of Canada.
