[April 26, 2023] It has become increasingly clear that the primary contributor to the draconian COVID lockdowns was due to advice given by Dr. Anthony Fauci. Since his retirement, Dr. Fauci has been active in trying to debase that fact publicly. He does so again in a recent interview with a reporter from the New York Times Magazine (article behind NYT paywall here). We should allow liars to continue expressing themselves but also publicly shame them.
Eric Boehm, a reporter at Reason, summarizes Fauci’s lies of his denials and deflections in his column “Anthony Fauci Says Don’t Blame Him for COVID Lockdowns and School Closures.” Fauci consistently failed to acknowledge that lockdowns did severe harm. We took his advice and paid a heavy price that we are recovering from today.
From the start, Fauci pushed for the Trump administration to tell states to lock down. “No bars, no restaurants, no nothing. Only essential services. When you get a place like New York or Washington or California, you have got to ratchet it up,” he told Science magazine in an interview in mid-March 2020.
Fauci also pushed back against evidence that lockdowns were causing unintended (though totally predictable) problems. A group of epidemiologists and other public health experts in October 2020 signed The Great Barrington Declaration, which called for a focus on protecting the vulnerable and letting everyone else resume normal life. Soon after it was published, Fauci denounced the document as “nonsense and very dangerous.”
Fauci had no power to shut down schools, close bars and restaurants, shutter churches and gyms, and enforce curfews, but he was all in on those places that implemented them. Even when there was clear evidence that the most vulnerable population was the elderly over 70, Fauci continued to parade his lies that everyone was at high risk and that any action is taken, regardless of how draconian, was perfectly acceptable.
Furthermore, in the opinion of many (see articles here, here, and here), Anthony Fauci gained financially from research into COVID and other “investments.” This is likely the biggest scandal in medical history. He should be held accountable.
Liars should speak up.* Liars should also be publically denounced.

If you ever hear the name Fauci ever again, the word liar should be in front of it. Just like traitor Jane Fonda. Fauci will forever be remembered for the destruction he was directly responsible for in America AND through out the world.

It is easy to be down on Antony fauci for lying. He has done it so many times that we just expect this sort of inane behavior from him. The real problem, IMO, is that he insists that he didn’t ever lie or mislead the public. How untruthful.

Ebright, an award-winning scientist and Board of Governors Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Rutgers University, responded to statements made by Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday by repeatedly calling Fauci a “serial liar.” Ebright responded to each of the following comments made on social media by stating, “Serial liars–like Fauci–will be serial liars.”

Very hard to deny the obvious truth that Fauci is a liar and, also, a thief.
Let’s just remember to tell this story to every. Fauci should be investigated by the US Congress and if found guilty of lying to Congress and taking bribes and gaining funds unethically, he should be sent to prison for the rest of his life and all his money and possession stripped from him and his family.
