Easter Sunday v. Transgender Day of Visibility

By | March 31, 2024

[March 31, 2024]  Today is one of the most celebrated days in Christianity –  Easter – and we honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizing victory over sin and death.  Yet, the attacks on Christians worldwide continue in both large and small ways.  Today, March 31st, is celebrated by U.S. President Joe Biden as Transgender Day of Visibility.  This is another attack on Christianity that ranks high on the scale of stupidity and wickedness.

To be fair, March 31st has been Trans-Awareness Day for several years.  The fact that this year, it occurred on Easter Sunday is a fluke.  Who knew?  On the other hand, there are many days when we celebrate the alphabet community.  Six days in April, four days in May, the entire month of June, and, well, you get the picture.  By my count, there are 129 days recognized by The White House that specifically celebrate LGBTQA++ folks, many of whom are seriously mentally ill.

Joe Biden claims to be Catholic.  That, he is not.  A Christian, he is not.  I’m not sure what he is, to be honest.

So sad that our president prioritizes mental illness over Godliness.

Stacey, you nailed it. Such a shame that he panders to the mentally ill crowd and those who are ill and want special privilidges. “If you thought March 31 was Easter Sunday, think again, heretic. And no, I’m not referring to the fact that for, Orthodox Christians, Easter falls this year on May 5. Those who celebrate Easter on March 31 are heretics from the standpoint of the Biden regime’s favored religion, which is worlds away from Old Joe’s ostentatious and hollow Roman Catholicism. March 31, you see, is the Transgender Day of Visibility.” – article by Robert Spencer, from Front Page Mag.

Easter is the holiest day of the year for Christians. The White House has banned religious symbols from the art contest that accompanies the White House Easter Egg Roll. Go figure.

Easter in the Bible: The biblical account of Jesus’ death on the cross, or crucifixion, his burial, and his resurrection, or raising from the dead, can be found in the following passages of Scripture: Matthew 27:27-28:8; Mark 15:16-16:19; Luke 23:26-24:35; and John 19:16-20:30. The word “Easter” does not appear in the Bible and no early church celebrations of Christ’s resurrection are mentioned in Scripture. Easter, like Christmas, is a tradition that developed later in church history. As the most solemn and preeminent celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, it’s unfortunate that many of Easter’s customs are mixed with pagan associations and secular commercialization. For these reasons, many Christian churches choose to refer to the Easter holiday simply as Resurrection Day.

    Sir, you nailed it:
“Today is one of the most celebrated days in Christianity – Easter – and we honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizing victory over sin and death. ” – Gen. Doug Satterfield tells us of what Easter is in just a few words. But like he tells us before, it means much much more. Thank you, Gen. S. for your continued contribution and support for all peoples but esp. Christians. As our nation kicks Christians around by the FBI arresting them and the White House not allowing them to celebrate, our nation continues its decline.

Eye Cat, well said. 🙏 Let us celebrate Easter Sunday as we should and be with our families and go to church services and be around other good people who believe as we do. 🙏

Yes, we will. Please remember that Easter is one of the central holidays, or Holy Days, of Christianity. It honors the Resurrection of Jesus three days after His death by crucifixion. For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful conclusion to the Lenten season of devoted prayer, fasting, and penitence. What is Easter? For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful conclusion to the Lenten season of devoted prayer, fasting, and penitence. Along with the Nativity of Christ, Easter is one of the most important celebrations in the Christian calendar. It is when Christians glorify and give thanks for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. After His crucifixion, death, and burial, Christ rose from the grave three days later. By this, He conquered death and redeemed us from sin.

Amen pastor John. We should pray for those who are experiencing mental health issues not beating them down. Paul says in Roman it’s by the grace of God that we were not mental health issues . Grace is God unmerit favor toward mankind. Sadly both Men used the holy days to protect and promote sin. Sin is transgressions against God’s laws. President Biden promoted transgender bill; Former president Donald Trump hater words in his speech on Easter called people animals.

Yes, indeed, total depravity at the White House and with Joey Biteme. So sad that our nation has come to celebrating mental illness, on top of affirming the mental illness. This depravity will have long lasting consequences that anyone with one braincell can see. What the fallout from this kind of Presidential pandering will be is anyone’s guess?

Ouch, Gen. Satterfield, nothing like a slap in the face to Christians. Thanks for bringing this up. I had no idea.
