Libs of TikTok

By | February 21, 2024

[February 21, 2024]  Libs of TikTok is a social media exposé of radical-left wing activities using their leftists’ own accounts.  Those same left-wing users are lashing back at LoTT for the exposé of the Woke agenda.  I’m unsure how many followers there are, but it appears there are about 2 million on Twitter/X.  The woman behind Libs of TikTok is now being attacked for her work to show what left-wing folks are doing to harm American values.

In an interview last week on the Ingrahm Angle (link here), the creator, Chaya Raichik, claims that now these same radicals and leftist mainstream media outlets are smearing her.  For example, she says the media are “trying to frame me as some kind of dangerous, violent extremist.”  And in one case, when Raichik exposed a Massachusetts elementary school teacher making OnlyFans (porn) content on school grounds, the media reports erroneously said Raichik inspired bomb threats.

Raichik notes that the political left wants to shut her up and is using law enforcement to help them do precisely that when they are reporting her as a threat.  The reason is that the radicals don’t want to be exposed.

“They are more upset at me exposing what is going on in your kid’s schools than they are of the fact that these things are happening.  They don’t care that teachers are filming porn in preschools.  They don’t care that schools are bringing drag queens to torque for your children.  They don’t care that schools have porn in [school] libraries.  They are mad at me for sharing it.” – TikTok creator Chaya Raichik.

Laura Ingrahm followed up by saying, in this interview, that these leftists only care about “pot, porn, abortion, transgenderism, and that kind of sums it up.”  The bias against Raichik is over the top.  She is exposing depravity, yet to listen to the news media, it is Raichik who is evil.

Here is an example from Wikipedia (link here) that shows how pervasive the bias is (links and footnotes omitted):

“Libs of TikTok is a handle for various far-right and anti-LGBT social-media accounts operated by Chaya Raichik, a former real estate agent. Raichik uses the accounts to repost content created by left-wing and LGBT people on TikTok, and on other social-media platforms, often with hostile, mocking, or derogatory commentary.  The accounts promote hate speech and transphobia, and spread false claims, especially relating to medical care of transgender children.” – Wikipedia viewed 2/20/2024 at 2:30 PM.

On April 19, 2021, she changed her handle to @libsoftiktok and said she would provide “your daily dose of cringe.”  Yep, she’s done that in spades and now she is being attacked for telling the world what evil leftists are doing, and they aren’t taking it lying down.

Chaya Raichik is a sane hero in the culture war.

TikTok may surface potentially harmful content related to suicide and eating disorders to teenagers within minutes of them creating an account, a scientific study suggests, likely adding to growing scrutiny of the app’s impact on its youngest users. In a report published by the non-profit Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) found that it can take less than three minutes after signing up for a TikTok account to see content related to suicide and about five more minutes to find a community promoting eating disorder content. Lesson, avoid TikTok and encourage others to stay away from it.

Thanks Gen. Satterfield for keeping us informed about how the radical leftists are inherently violent and destructive. It has always been that way historically across all nations and time. Socialism/Communism/Marxism and their similar spinoffs are highly attractive but destructive. TikTok by the Chinese government is just another one that is out there to be avoided.

I agree with Gen. S. about tik tok and as noted by Good Dog below, the platform has more built-in traps than we might know. Its addictive attributes alone should be enough to encourage kids not to try it. but some adults are too ignorant to get off the platform. Like heroin addicts, they keep coming back to the trough.

Thanks Rowen and Mellissa. And others who are warning about this Chinese platform. Nothing the Chinese do is good. So beware. The app’s rapid ascent is unprecedented in the history of the internet. Within a few years, it rose from a niche app for lip-synching kids to one of the world’s leading social media platforms, which users increasingly turn to for running search queries or following the news. In 2018, ByteDance launched TikTok, which is modeled after its Chinese app Douyin, on the global market. In September 2021, the platform announced it had reached a billion active monthly users — a milestone that it took Facebook over eight years to reach.

We should all be concerned, but we’re not, just cruising along being stupid is as stupid does.

The results are every parent’s nightmare: young people’s feeds are bombarded with harmful, harrowing content that can have a significant cumulative impact on their understanding of the world around them, and their physical and mental health.

TikTok is in the crosshairs of many authorities and monitoring bodies. Lawmakers worldwide are debating how to restrict, if not outlaw, the use of the Chinese video-streaming service, which has become one of the most popular apps among teenagers around the world.

Stay away from the social media site TikTok and even more important, protect your children from this horrific site of evil and trash.

EG, I agree. The site is full of those things that pull you in and destroy you. So much moral depravity, not the finger pointing depravity but the common sense form of depravity and destroys human relationships and makes weak people do horrible things for publicity.
