Make a Decision: balloon edition

By | February 10, 2023

[February 10, 2023]  Why do terrible things happen worldwide?  The answer is quite simple; it’s because you’re not good enough and because you don’t tell the truth, and you know it, and because you can’t make a decision.  A basic rule of leadership is, “Make a decision.”  That’s what real leaders do.

“Be decisive.  Right or wrong, make a decision.  The road of life is paved with flat squirrels who couldn’t make a decision.” – Unknown

If you want to do right, making timely and proper decisions is necessary.  We have before us, in the case of the Chinese Spy Balloon, a classic example of how not to be a leader and how no decision can become a bad decision.  Recently a Chinese balloon made it across America from Alaska to the East Coast and out into the ocean before being shot down by an American F-22 Raptor.

President Joe Biden failed us by showing the world that he could not handle this relatively small national security challenge.  His failure is a political embarrassment for all to see.  Internationally and at home, his excuses for his failure have fallen on deaf ears.  We must remember this is precisely what Biden did in Afghanistan with his botched exit.

The standard explanation from poor leaders is that when a problem occurs, it is somebody else’s fault, or it happened before, and no one is at fault.  In this case, the White House said three Chinese balloons flew over the United States under President Trump.  Of course, that’s irrelevant; we now know that was a total lie.  American citizens see this unfolding in real-time.  Yes, leadership failure can be seen as it is happening.

The indecisiveness of President Biden is a shot in the arm for the Chinese Communist Party, which believes he is weak and dithering.  They are right.  Biden was caught flat-footed.  And now he is saying his Generals advised him not to shoot down the balloon.  Who cares what the Generals said.  Biden is the president, and it’s his decision.

On the funny side, we find memes making fun of the Department of Defense (like children frightened of a small helium balloon) and Hunter Biden (showing him holding onto a flight of colored balloons).  I found a few thousand here (see link).

Message to President Joe Biden (and to all leaders) … Make a decision.

And a message to his Generals … Resign now; you are an embarrassment to your country.

Gee, Pres Biden can’t admit these were Chinese balloons. Is he that brainwashed or braindead?

The administration’s actions make perfect sense, and can only reflect an alarming degree of kowtowing to China.

It recently emerged that the president and his team played hush-hush on the Chinese Spy Balloon because they didn’t want a dispute with China to get in the way of a planned visit there by Secretary of State Tony Blinken. File that one under appeasement.

The only reason Joe Biden did anything at all was because he was shamed into it. And that’s the truth of it.

Let’s just not worry about whether the ‘balloon’ was shot down or not. The bottom line was that the Chinese communist party was poking America in the chest to see if we would do anything that showed them strength or not. America showed weakness and that is exactly what they wanted to see. We teach men to be weak and tell them that is how they can be good men. But we all know that weak men cause serious problems in our society. They are the murderers, rapists, theives, etc. If you are concerned about what a strong man can do, damage, just watch out for weak men.

Pray for our country with the most radically weak leadership ever seen.

The obsessive behavior of Pres Biden (an Obama acolyte) is not just a symptom of poor judgement, it is an escape from reality and a symptom of insanity. Nothing good will come of this because weakness is a disease than is fatal.

OUCH. 😒 Within hours of an Air Force F-22 downing a giant Chinese balloon that had crossed the United States, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin reached out to his Chinese counterpart via a special crisis line, aiming for a quick general-to-general talk that could explain things and ease tensions. But Austin’s effort Saturday fell flat, when Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe declined to get on the line, the Pentagon says. WEAK!!!!!!!!

Yes, he won’t pull back. Our military is woke but worthless in a fight. Our military and our leaders have become panderers to the woke ideology and are thus corrupt to the very core and cannot any longer fulfill their intended mission. Wokeness gone amoke.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s Jan. 29-31 visit to Egypt, Israel and the Palestinian Authority marked another milestone in his well-intentioned—but erroneous—Middle East legacy. It has backfired on vital U.S. interests in general, and the pursuit of regional stability and peace in particular. And Blinken is involved in this balloon affair up to his closed eyelids.

Comments from the White House should be treated with great suspicion at a minimum but better if you just start with it as an outright lie and go from there. you will be better off for thinking of it that way.

This whole Chinese balloon fiasco reminds me of Jimmie Carter and the swimming squirrel attack. Gotta love those dumb Democrat politicians who are afraid of decision making.

Just kick Joe Biteme in the ass and maybe he will not ask for a diaper or icecream. Like a kid caught dipping his hand in the cookie jar, Biteme can screw things up but cannot do anything constructive.

Good comparison. And now our president Joe Biden will be known from the Chinese balloon affair long after he is gone. China balloon gate.

Biden is afraid of his shadow. Does that mean we will see more winter? Or more war? The latter is predicted.

Biden is an international embarrassment. You know what? He is not even in charge. His underlings are running the country and they are not elected. The fact that he allows it to happen (if he has the brainpower, which I doubt), then he is evil to the core. His underlings and stupid wife (doctor jill) are running the country into the ground. Expect more war, more inflation, more invasion of our borders, etc Evil incarnate Joe Biden.
