Special Treat Today!

By | November 9, 2019

[November 9, 2019]  Today, for the first time, I have three (yep, a big 3) guest bloggers on my website.  I consider a special treat because these young folks are writing about “leadership” … something that I didn’t put pen to paper on until I was a Colonel.

Here they are with links:

  1.  10 Valuable Tips for Introverted Leaders – https://www.theleadermaker.com/10-valuable-tips-for-introverted-leaders/
  2. 3 Hiring Tips from an Executive Recruiter – https://www.theleadermaker.com/3-hiring-tips-from-an-executive-recruiter/
  3. Three Habits to Help You Become a Better Business Leader – https://www.theleadermaker.com/three-habits-to-help-you-become-a-better-business-leader/

On another note, I came across a great video that you have got to watch.  I talk all the time about having a positive attitude and how that can make the difference in being a great leader and just getting by.  Here’s a story of Travis Mills.  I won’t give you any hints but I do recommend you watch the YouTube video.  Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSytAgtLqVw

Author: Douglas R. Satterfield

Hello. I provide one article every day. My writings are influenced by great thinkers such as Friedrich Nietzsche, Karl Jung, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Jean Piaget, Erich Neumann, and Jordan Peterson, whose insight and brilliance have gotten millions worldwide to think about improving ourselves. Thank you for reading my blog.

I enjoyed each of them. Thank you, General Satterfield, for giving us three new guest bloggers.

Great video of Army Sergeant Travis Mills. He gets four stars from me for having such a positive attitude. This guy is a quadruple amputee and yet his wife stuck by him and he recovered from the depression that he experienced. Great story and one that should be told by him. I’ll be showing the video in my classes this coming week.

It should be shown to all young people so that they “see” with their own eyes what is important and what is not.

The articles by the guest bloggers are okay but don’t have the PUNCH that Gen. Satterfield’s storytelling does. I guess we should actually encourage them to write more and learn how to grab the attention of the audience. This is what comedians do all the time and are well compensated for it. See all you folks tomorrow, right here!

I agree but will add that I like Sadako Red and the other regular contributors. We haven’t seen them in a while. I hope Gen. Satterfield brings them back.

Army Vet and Edward Kennedy III are the other two you were thinking about.
I’m one of their earliest and biggest fans.

Great to have Brad, Tara, and Sophia on your blog today for us. I’m not sure how you vet these writers but the ones today are pretty darn good. Well done. Keep bringing back more guest bloggers.
