A Few Things to Think About (Part 3)

By | October 23, 2022

[October 23, 2022]  For the last two days, I reprinted the last chapter of my newest book, “55 Rules for a Good Life.”  The idea here is to have a teaser that perhaps will encourage you to purchase my book.  Please order your copy today and give me an honest review on Amazon.  Thank you!  Today is part 3 (and the last), and I call it “a few things to think about.”

Set yourself a serious challenge.  It takes the challenge to pull your mature, developed self out of you and to motivate you to rid yourself of all the weaknesses and personality flaws you have accumulated.  A noble goal is a very good way of beginning.

The truth is each of us has enough potential and character.  If we can contend with it in a noble way and rise above it, then we can make the world a better place for our family, our community, one small step at a time and ourselves.  And, we can constrain the evil, at least in our own hearts and have a positive effect on those around us as a consequence.  That does make things better, and we can do it.

That is where the good life is to be found.

The good life, which goes along with the adoption of great responsibility, is the antidote to the suffering and arbitrariness that life brings.  You need a reason to get out of bed in the morning, especially when things are not going to be great in your life.

Tell the truth, especially to yourself.  You know what is wrong with you if you ask yourself seriously.  Start today, don’t wait; begin by putting your own house in order.  Now, you can begin your day with a smile and with the knowledge you know the way ahead.

Remember that you should be better than you are, not because you’re worse than other people, but because you’re not everything you should be.  Be more than you ever thought you could be.

My message is clear, anyone can be successful, but you have to be responsible for yourself.

“Set yourself a serious [and I will add a noble] challenge.” That is how we being our good life. Robbery, violence, attacks on others persons and their property like we see our Democrat politicains encouraging, is the wrong way and leads to evil.

Correct Nick, find any city in America that is in decline and they all have the same thing in common. They are run by Democrats and the DNC. And they blame everything and everyone else for their personal failures.
