[August 15, 2025] In a shocking article, Edward Ring tells of the impending crash of Western civilization because of the simple truth that we aren’t having enough kids. A seismic demographic shift from below-replacement-level births means our way of life is disappearing. This will be a hard reality for the West.
East Asia has it much worse, and their population crash will be faster and more painful. For example, it is estimated that China’s population will fall from 1.4 billion today to less than half by 2100. But that’s for another day.
In the West, we see birth rates below replacement level. De facto government policies are designed to encourage immigration to make up for the shortfall from culturally different societies
“Diving too deep into these statistics can obscure the central fact: birth rates in the westernized, developed nations worldwide have plummeted to near-extinction levels, at the same time as birth rates in Africa and much of the Middle East remain so robust that the population in many of these nations will double within 20 to 30 years.” — Edward Ring
Those same policies, however, are having an unfortunate and negative impact because the immigration is so massive that assimilation is not occurring. And Westerners are being propagandized into believing they are bad people, privileged, and immoral.
“Nations with appalling records of human rights, including endemic sexist suppression of women, and totally failed states with cultures marked by corruption and brutality are the only nations left on earth with positive birth rates. Those are the nations sending “refugees” to the developed nations of the world, and they will keep coming as long as the business and financial elites who run the US and the EU deem it in their economic and political interests to bring them in.”
Mr. Ring clearly points to a simple demographic trend: “The tide of immigrants may very well overwhelm American and European values.” Such is shocking. It looks like the West is due to go extinct by the end of the decade.
“There is no excuse for westernized, highly educated people—no matter what their ethnicity—to stop having children. But that is exactly what is happening. If you are still young and fertile, figure it out. Get married and live with your parents if needed. Multi-generational households used to be the norm. Reject materialism as an unfulfilling debt trap. Recognize hedonism for what it truly is: pointless gratification followed by pointless death.”
What now matters most is increasing the birth rate. The train is rolling down the tracks and is destined to crash. Our population is going to crash, and most of us will live to see it.
By the tens of millions, people from Africa, the Middle East, and, to a lesser degree, Latin America are migrating into the United States, Canada, Australia, and Western Europe.

The demographic crash that is coming cannot be averted. It’s all about the math. Many societies will crash and crash hard. China, Japan, S. Korea are three at the leading edge. We should watch how they work themselves out of this problem and learn from their mistakes and successes. Nothing on this scale has ever happened in the recorded history of the world. Good comment, King Henry. I see your point. The richer we are in material and luxurious goods, the poorer we get in family (smaller & more fractured) and morality (less religiosity). We are in decline in the West because we no longer value those things that matter to good humans. We’ve become lazy and retarded in wisdom. That is shameful. Get married, have children, and show them the path to being a good man or woman. This is the way of the world and too many of us figure that out far too late in life.

Unfortunately, for the civilization that created nearly all modern inventions and riches for the world, they are being taken by the savages of the third world.
Who knew? Actually, all of us who are paying attention. Pres. Biden- the worst president in American history – even knew it and was using illegal immigration to partly solve the problem of declining birth rates and also to vote his party into power.
I disagree with you, in part, I.Savant. Biden allowed illegal immigration because he thought they would only vote for his Democrat Party and screw the Americans in his party because they’d believe anything he told them like lemmings going off a cliff. Democrats are mostly emotional morons or those who want unlimited power. But that is not how a Constitutional Republic works.

Demographers have been warning us about this “seismic” shift for a couple of decades. The math is the math. There is no way out of a Western crash. Not even unregulated immigration will solve the problem although many dumb politicians think that is the answer. But, the good news is China will crash first. And then the third world shitty nations will take over.
— and that is where we need strong, foreseeing leadership and that is seriously lacking. Why? Because we like to elect those who promise us the most free stuff. America is failing with this attitude. Fortunately, President Donald Trump is leading us out of the quagmire. Let’s hope he can do it, even as some of the most idiotic people resist what is in their best interests. Go figure.
