[June 14, 2025] Israel’s preemptive attack on Iran’s leadership and nuclear infrastructure this past Thursday was the beginning of an effort to neuter Iran completely; the purpose can only be regime change. This is cutting off the snake’s head by killing leaders in Iran who have the will and desire to destroy the country of Israel.
This is more commonly called a “decapitation” of leaders, which ideally sows chaos and confusion in your enemy’s ranks.
There is no place in the world for a nation to be an exporter of terrorism and simultaneously possess deliverable nuclear weapons. Not everyone will agree, like the majority of UN members, unfortunately.
As I write this article, the folks are concentrating on the fact that Israel went after Iran’s nuclear processing, ballistic missile facilities, bomb building capacity, and radar installations. And, there is merit in their view.
But, I believe that the primary mission is to destroy Iran’s radical Islamic leadership so that they will never again act like the rogue, terror-supporting nation that they have become. I’m getting reports that some have already left Iran, destination Russia. We are seeing regime change in real time. The only question that remains is who the new leadership will be
Israel’s leaders finally saw that the many attempts to halt Iran’s nuclear ambitions with the current Iranian government, were a fairytale. This fairytale was promoted largely by America under Obama and Biden. The fatal flaw was that Iran can never be trusted to abide by any agreement.
Under Obama and Biden, America was willfully blind when it came to Iran because there was always the belief that a deal could be made. Now we know that is not true.
So, what’s next? I think that Israel will continue to pound those nuclear and governmental facilities. This is good for obvious reasons, yet those attacks are also a good distraction from the primary target. Iran’s Ayatollah thinks he’s not going to be attacked if his nuclear sites are destroyed. He is wrong.
For now, Iran is going to retaliate, like they have on the city of Tel Aviv, but they won’t waste all their heavy-long range missiles. They know that Iran only has leverage when it possesses large missiles and can use their regional proxies to hit back at Israel. The people of Iran, their average citizen, are already preparing for a takeover of the Iranian Regime.
America is sitting on the sidelines, at least for now.
What this all means is that Israel’s Operation Rising Lion is going to be largely successful. Already, several IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists have been killed, and there is reason to believe there are many more on the target list. If my assertions about the primary mission to discourage future nuclear-development behavior, these high-level killings will increase in the days ahead.
There is nothing like fear to motivate ordinary people. But fear is not a big factor when it comes to the Iranian government and its military arm. They are religious zealots where only death will only stop them. And death is what they will receive.
Is this the end of the Islamic Republic of Iran? Their scientists have just been ordered to complete their nuclear bomb (or warhead) with all due haste. We can assume that if they are able to complete their work before Israel finds and destroys it, Iran will attempt to deliver it to kill as many Israelis as possible.
If Iran were to detonate a nuclear device inside Israel (which is highly unlikely), that would guarantee an immediate end to the Iranian regime because the United States and most of the rest of the Western world will be galvanized into action. All-out war will be at Iran’s doorstep.
Cutting off the snake’s head is Israel’s only viable option. Regime change is upon them. Let us pray that the new, incoming Iranian government learns a lesson that you don’t promote evil in the world without consequences

After reading a number of analysts who are on top of this, it appears that Gen. Satterfield is correct. The IDF is going primarily after the leadership of Iran and the goal has become apparent! Israel is after toppling the Iranian government by full decapitation thru assassination or letting them leave the country. Now I understand that there are assassination squads inside the capital, Tehran that are hunting them down one by one. And like all snakes in the grass, they are slithering away.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Israel took “unilateral action against Iran” tonight, stressing that the US was not involved and warning that Tehran should not target the US in response.
“Our top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this action was necessary for [their] self-defense,” Rubio says in a statement.
“President Trump and the Administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners,” he adds.
