[January 27, 2026] I thought it was most appropriate today to share an idea that’s been on my mind since the anti-ICE riots started in Minnesota. In ChangingMinds.org, the authors list 36 military stratagems, and I’ll focus on one of them – #20 Fish in Troubled Waters to show how on-the-ground tactics are working for the “protestors.”
This stratagem tells a military commander (or anyone) who wishes to improve his chances of victory that it is best to take advantage of confusion and chaos. Whenever an enemy is dealing with uncertainty and is distracted, then move stealthily upon them or attack away from their attention.
This is exactly what these insurgents do to distract an occupying army from gaining further control over the population. As seen in Minneapolis, anti-ICE forces have organized into cells that actively interfere (illegally, I will add) with the enforcement of federal immigration laws. They do this by blowing whistles, honking car horns, yelling at law enforcement, and using other proven insurgent tactics.
“Create more chaos to make them twist and turn, becoming more confused at each moment. Then use this confusion to gain further advantage. Be prepared and ready for confused situations, keeping resources in reserve. Also, always stay alert for small changes that indicate confusion is either about to appear or that you have a window of opportunity to cause it.”
This is clearly an organized resistance resembling an insurgency, and I’m not alone in this observation. A former Special Forces Warrant Officer with multiple rotations in counterinsurgency operations has made the same point.

Setting a bad example for leadership is Governor Tim Walz, who is giving cover to the violence and law-breaking that is taking place in his state.
The question everyone is asking is, “Where is Pam Bondi and the DOJ?”

Rather than being a work authored by a single person, the 36 Stratagems is a collection of wisdom on warfare that was derived over many centuries of inter-state conflict within China. Many of the stratagems involve deception of some kind and may be used in changing minds, though of course, the values of modern society act to moderate effective action. Having said this, where the alternative is harmful conflict, deception may be the best alternative. This is only an approximate grouping, and stratagems from any group can be used as appropriate. The greatest ability of all is probably flexibility in being able to adapt and innovate at will.

There will be a number of HEROes who come out of this mess who exposed corruption and abuse of power. This includes senior elected officials in Minnesota and others appointed. The jails are not big enough. Maybe they should get the Jan 6th treatment.

Here’s one from the NYPost: The left is truly sick if it thinks denying medical care or wishing physical harm to patients it doesn’t politically align with should be standard operating procedure. “I will not perform anesthesia for any surgeries or procedures for MAGA. It is my right, it is my ethical oath, and I stand behind my education,” Florida nurse Erik Martindale recently wrote on Facebook. “I own all of my own businesses and I can refuse anyone!” After the post went viral, Martindale conveniently claimed he was hacked on Facebook and Instagram. The sickos and pyschos in the medical field is alarming. That is why political and commercial leaders need to stop encouraging this kind of behavior. And then actively punish it by terminating their employment. When it comes to taking the life of someone who does not align with your ideology, then that needs to stop. Gov Walz and those like him are at the forefront of this craziness and must stop immediately.
If they are a Communist, they will only stop temporarily. When the heat is off, they’ll be back at it. Send them on a one-way trip to Russia, Cuba, N. Korea, or China. And, it would be worth it to give them a couple thousand dollars to encourage them to remain there.
INSURGENCY
The anti-ICW riots are actually anti-American riots. Let’s all get that straight. Gov Walz, Mayor Frey, AG Ellison are part of a Marxist/Communist alliance with radical Islam and America is its target because we stand for freedom. They hate freedom. And they will do their best to implement anything, regardless of how evil,, to destroy us.
