Hitler Leads in Poll: NY Times

By | November 3, 2023

[November 3, 2023] This article may surprise most of you but not those who closely study young people.  I was surprised, too.  The New York Times reported the results of a poll conducted with students of the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University.  They asked who is “the most outstanding personality in the world today?”  Hitler led the poll, followed by Pope Pius XII in second place and US President Roosevelt taking third.

Interestingly, the New York Times was ranked as the “favorite newspaper,” and Hoya (the Georgetown campus newspaper) ranked second.  Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt easily won the title of “most outstanding woman in the world today,” with Queen Elizabeth nosing out Madam Chiang Kai-Shek for second place.

Suppose we were to take a poll from Georgetown University in the College of Arts and Sciences today.  In that case, I’m sure Hamas would rank as “the most outstanding political organization in the world today.”  Of course, no one dares to conduct such a survey because they fear what the results might say about our advanced educational institutions.  A severe backlash would undoubtedly happen.  True enough, our educational system lacks the cojones to find out.

Our universities are in the grips of a wave of anti-Semitism and harassment of Jews on campus.  Some pushback is occurring in “elite law firms,” as shown in a letter to university deans dated November 1, 2023.

“As employers who recruit from each of your law schools, we look to you to ensure your students who hope to join our firms after graduation are prepared to be an active part of workplace communities that have zero tolerance policies for any form of discrimination or harassment, much less the kind that has been taking place on some law school campuses.” – signed by 24 Wall Street Law firms

The message is simple.  Law college deans must get a grip on the anti-Semitism they have let run rampant at their schools.

Indeed, college students are weak-minded simpletons who parrot their favorite meme of the day.  However, everyone (students, faculty, and deans) must recognize that there are consequences to their actions.  Remember that just before America entered World War II, students believed Hitler led the polls for most outstanding personality in the world.  And by that time, the world war had been ongoing for more than a year and a half.

    As I read this article I was thinking about the age group of people who are in college now. They are the maallion group. They are the new age group that are looking for anything new to say they know more that you do. YOU or WE are the group the maallion are talking about. Sadly college professionals who are paid to educate our young minds are in that group also. My grandmother would say don’t let educate run you foolish.
    In the Scripture of Proverbs that say Wisdom is the principle thing, which is the basic ,in all your getting get it with understanding.
    My support Scripture to share with the youth and person who needs wisdom.

    King James Version
    1 The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
    2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
    3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
    4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
    5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
    6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
    7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
    8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
    9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

      Actually, the poll wasn’t conducted by the NYT. It was done by the student newspaper of Georgetown Univ. Which, in itself, says a lot about the paper and the students who went to the university. Imagine that. And this was a time of great patriotism. Imagine that today. Liberals are fast to called people Hitler, yet they are quick also to support Hamas (loved by all Palestinians) who use Hitler’s desire of exterminating Jews.

    I’m shocked and surprised. Glad I read this blog. What Gen. Satterfield has done is to show us that human psychology is sometimes unpredictable but also has themes or trends. Let us never forget.

    Kids today in uni love Hitler. They say they don’t but they do. Proof? Just look at their actions and words. Yep. Hard to deny. We already know that Muslims are all for Hitler since his rise. They are all in on dictatorships.

      Unfortunately, mainer, this is true. The best thing to do today is to be an American Patriot and you don’t even need to be living here or a citizen.

      Hi Kerry, thinking the same thing here. Let’s not forget that Gen. Satterfield has written about this idea for a long time that pre-WWII young people were weak, effete, socialist, lazy, and stupid. Kinda describes today’s college students. Then after WWII began for America, there was a 180 degree turnabout.

    Gen. Satterfield is all over it. Young people in college have always been in love with dictators. I’m sure there is some psychological reason but I can’t fathom it. If we were do this survey today on American college campuses, I think Hitler would get a large number of votes from Muslim and antheist students. Christians do not like him or his terrible legacy. Most of the demonstrations on campus are in support of the Palestinians which are fully supportive of the terror group Hamas. So if they die, no loss to the world. In fact, I will say that if all Palestinians die, the world will be much more peacful. Then Iran is next.

      Hi Claudia. If you are new, welcome to the leader forums created and maintained by Gen. Satterfield and kept going by good folks like us. This is the place to exchange ideas, even if you think they are a bit nutty. We will comment and hope you can see we are trying to help. Also, if you get the chance, we recommend highly that you get one of Gen. Satterfield’s books. The best, IMO, is “55 rules for a good life.”
