Is the U.S. Army Rejecting Wokeism?

By | November 18, 2023

[November 18, 2023]  Are the U.S. Army senior brass finally waking up from their Woke Nightmare?  Nope!  But we are beginning to see that there might be some adults in the ranks of the political generals of America’s military services.  Last week, the Army released a recruiting ad that dumps the diversity, equity, and inclusion DEI narrative so prominent for so long.

After several years of telling troops that “If you’re a white male, you are part of the problem,” they are now after soldiers from their traditional recruiting pool: white males.  Perhaps the Army has woken up to the fact that if you’re after combat soldiers, you have to recruit heavily among white males, most often in the Midwest and South.  White males have disproportionally signed up for the combat arms.

Combat deaths also clearly show that white males are disproportionately higher represented, despite Woke narratives to the contrary.  The U.S. Army recruiting efforts, in contrast, were targeting non-whites, females, and gays while simultaneously ‘discouraging’ straight white males.  And, while that social experiment is okay if you’re a liberal, if you want to win wars, this is a failed strategy.

The Army has spectacularly failed to achieve its recruiting goals.  Part of the reason is their recruiting effort, but also because the Army’s leadership has shown to be more interested in “social issues” than doing its job – deterring and defeating America’s enemies.

“Politized militaries don’t win wars, and they don’t attract fighting soldiers.” – Glenn Harlan Reynolds, professor of law at the University of Tennessee

This is what led me to discourage potential Army recruits from joining.  But until the Army brass reverses their destructive and failing efforts to incorporate DEI, I will continue to recommend against joining the Army.

In my opinion, the US ARMY has not learned that wokeism destroys everything it touches. Just look at our colleges and the rampant anti-Semitism and destruction going on and at the IVY league schools too. No one is exempt from the destruction of the Woke. Reject it out of hand. But today that takes strong leadership because everyone of them will be gunning for you. Strong leadership is NOT something that America has right now. We are led by a senile, weak old man who has a bunch of woke handlers who just put him up as a figurehead.

The US Army has NOT given up their WOKEISM. Don’t be fooled. It is only a matter of time before Pres. Biden forces them back to the ideology of the radical left. Too bad there is no pushback by army senior leaders. Sad.

We’re screwed with our political generals. One of the best things that happened to the US military in the years since Biden is the retirement of GEN. Mark Milley. Milley is a traitor to America because he directly conspired with the Chinese military to undercut a US President.

Excellent article my friend. I have several points to address. Why is so many you people not wanting to served in the military. Can it be US those who talk about the bad of the leadership role in the military. A young man or woman growing up in America hearing all the negative things about the service makes sense of them not joining. The Bible says there is life or death in the power of the tongue 👅.
Point of army Mott of not target white male versus other races . It simple, what happens in wars men die right. Who is needed to reproduce children. The man. Right. So you 👀 my point, which race is growing based on this which race is declining.
We have a role as America under one flag to use our voice and platform to make a difference. A change for the better not the worse.

Hey, Gen. Satterfield, thanks for this and so many daily articles. I’ve been a long time reader and will be staying with you. So much of what we read today is trash.

I support America and ALL Americans. Sometimes that means enlisting those who want to do the job right. Whether that is their culture or they are convinced by relatives to do so, I want them on board with me. Question, would you rather have a DEI recruit next to you or someone who joined because they wanted to help America? Well, the answer is easy for me. Liberals and progressives don’t understand reality. But when the bullets fly, then they will change their attitude.

Hi Forrest, thanks. I don’t always read the Daily Favorites. This is a scary attitude, esp. since Oct 7 attack on Israel. Why is that? I can’t find a good explanation anywhere.

Pray for our military and its members. They are being misled by Pres. Biden and the entire senior leadership. We need someone else in charge. Get rid of the diversity hires and the queers, and we will have a better fighting force.

Gen. Satterfield has written about this topic for a long time, almost totally since Pres. Joe Biden got into office. Too bad that so many of the “senior brass” are so woke so quick. Makes you wonder about their character. Can we trust today’s generals? No! That is a sad sad thing to write but it is unfortunately true. Let us pray that we return to normalcy and have a force that can win wars instead of walking in LGBTQ+ parades. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Army Capt, you are right and the same applies to the US Air Force and Navy. In fact, the Air Force is worse than the army in this area.

And in the UK and most of the West. We are shooting ourselves in the feet on this issue and are raising the probability we will be taken over from external enemies like the current Sec of Defense Lloyd Austin III. 😢

The bottom line here is that Joe Biden has installed a bunch of political generals and admirals to his liking and they are following him with their noses up his wrinkled a$$.
