Pearl: the Military is a Man’s World

[May 29, 2025]  Pearl is a popular YouTuber who hosts shows on personal issues like dating, marriage, feminism, and much more. A recent post of her’s caught my attention because it hits close to home. Her message is that the military is a man’s world, so ladies, get used to it.

“We’re talking about women in the military. Now, I never really understood why women try to be a man that we [women] clearly can’t do like men can. The military is a man’s world full of jobs for men.” — Pearl, in a YouTube short

Many are in full agreement, like me. Why don’t we hear from senior military officers who publicly say so? The answer is simple: These officers lack what our military needs most: bravery. Yep, all we have are cowards at the top.

“Women try to be a man at things we clearly can’t do like men can. Men are stronger Men also accept hierarchy and authority better than women. There are lots of women in the military now and I really think that’s scary to me.”

Pearl hits on something important, something I’ve said for decades now. The military has one mission – to fight and win wars. That’s it. Unequivocal, clear, zero deviation from that mission, and every activity that moves us away from that singular mission is an impediment to our country’s future.”

“I thought the goal of the military was to win wars and effectively fight. But, how can the military be an effective fighting force when almost one in four soldiers have a lower standard than the rest.”

And she’s right.

“Women currently make up 17.7% of the military with the Air force – god help us – has the highest percentage at 24% with the Navy at 21%.”

Ouch, I didn’t realize the numbers were so high. The real question is whether women have increased the lethality and capability to win wars or not.

“Has letting women in the military been a benefit. I would argue not. Women don’t fight in combat and they still don’t do the dirty jobs that men do. And it’s sad that a woman who is a secretary in the military gets paid the same as a man that has to carry a rifle into combat.”

Pearl continues about how we allow a lower standard of morality in the military for women, not just lower physical fitness standards. I recommend listening to her. There is wisdom here that we should not ignore. Her video can be found at this link here.

Gosh, yeah, does she have a boyfriend? Where does she live? Sorry, not trying to spoil her privacy, but this is the kind of woman I’d like to marry. Anyone real men like me?

I think there are a few jobs that women in the military can do, just like the Department of Defense employees many women in non-critical jobs, nearly all stateside. These should be rare and require little or no physical fitness standards. Just like some weak men who could also be in those jobs because they can’t do much else. I know that Gen. Satterfield has written, but I can’t find the article, that we don’t want women being exposed to combat because it destroys their femininity and ability to bond with real men.

Good one, Edward. I’m sure you’ll now be attacked by hardcore feminists for telling the truth.

Edward, I agree with you in principal but is that the way we should run a very unique organization that is based on its mission to keep America save from “all enemies, foreign and domestic?” Or should we be using the military as an engine for social change, and to bring those at the bottom of the socio-economic latter up? Those are the kind of questions we need to answer.

Good points, Army Capt. but like many, I don’t think the gain in people power (instead of manpower) is worth the loss in prestige, perception of power, and a smooth running operation.

Pearl Davis has been on Fen. Satterfields leadership blog before. Thank her for her insight which seem to revolve the ideas that men should be men and women should stop trying to be men.
