[May 12, 2026] There is one memorial in Washington DC, which is constantly changing and evolving. That is the law-enforcement memorial.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied….” – Matthew 5:6
Each year new names are added of officers that have been lost in line of duty. Each year on May 13 tens of thousands gather for a candlelight vigil. And each year on May 15 law-enforcement Memorial day is observed.

Pastor Lou Strugala
Saturday and Sunday I had the privilege to pray with groups of bicycle riders from New Jersey to Washington. These men and women are committed to riding in remembrance of those who died and in support for their survivors. They are willing to raise money, train, and take on the grueling trip in any conditions so that we never forget.
As of today, 24775 names are on the wall; including 363 added this year alone. Every one of those names represent a family devastated, a community rocked and a sacrifice made on our behalf.
Policing isn’t an easy profession, nor one to be taken lightly. We entrust officers of many levels and disciplines to be our
protectors, our peacemakers, and our rescuers.
May God bless the memories of those 24775, their families-blood and blue, and all of us as we seek justice in these United States!
May God bless all who serve!
‘Never forget….’

🙏 In a world where some scream “defund the police” while dialing 911, this tribute hits like a badge of sanity.0 Pastor Strugala nails it: 24,775 heroes etched in stone, each a reminder that thin blue line holds chaos at bay. Witty how liberals forget officers protect their virtue-signaling marches too. Never forget? Try never electing soft-on-crime DAs who turn streets into war zones. These bicycle riders embody real grit; unlike keyboard warriors pushing “reimagined” policing. Blessed are the peacemakers in blue, not the rioters torching cities. Conservatives get it: support the shield, or embrace the sword of anarchy. God bless the fallen and their families; true American backbone. May 15 reminds us: law and order isn’t optional in a civilized society. Back the blue, or watch society blue itself into oblivion. Sacrifice demands respect, not hashtags from those who never risked a thing. 🙏
Sir, thank you for being part of our LEO community.
As a man of faith, I offer this comment: Dear brothers and sisters, Police Week 2026 calls us to remember the 24,775 fallen officers. Their sacrifice echoes Christ’s call to hunger for justice. We entrust our protectors with lives and peace. May God comfort their families in grief. Let the candlelight vigil unite us in prayer. Blessed are the peacemakers who serve daily. Never forget their courage and duty. Support law enforcement as stewards of order. Lord, bless all who wear the blue. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. 🙏
FOR THE FALLEN
Thank you for doing what you do to honor our heroes. 👍
You took the words right out of my mouth. Let us never forget and stop taking our first responders for granted, and stop the crazies from trying to defund them. Are Democrats just crazy? Asking for a friend.

Thank you, Pastor Strugala, for this powerful reminder of sacrifice. Police Week 2026 honors the 24,775 fallen officers. Their families endure lasting pain. We must support those who protect us daily. The candlelight vigil unites thousands in remembrance. Never forget their service and courage. Justice demands we value law enforcement. God bless all who serve and their blue family. May we hunger for justice as Matthew teaches. 🙏 Also, special thanks to General Satterfield for his continuing support also of our first responders.
Pastor Strugala, thank you sir for your support of our LEOs out in the field protecting us Americans against those who would do us harm. Blessings.
