Russia Sends the West an IRBM Message

By | November 22, 2024

[November 22, 2024] Russia launched an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile at Dnipro, Ukraine, yesterday to send a stern message to the West and Ukraine that they are still capable of striking anywhere, anytime with a nuclear weapon. This missile appears to have had six reentry warheads, all inert.

“Ukraine is the first country in the world to be targeted by an intercontinental ballistic missile. We will do everything to ensure that Russia remains in history only for its crimes.” — Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces

There is some dispute as to the specific missile fired. Several countries’ heads of state have made public statements about Moscow’s “extreme seriousness” and “continuation of escalation.” No country or NATO has said what their response would be.

Ukraine, in an immediate response, used drones to attack the Russian 105th nuclear assembly and testing site located at the Kapustin Yar Cosmodrome. Russia was ready for the expected strike and shot down several incoming attack drones.

Remember that the Russian IRBM firing here is in response to Ukraine using UK Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles and American ATACMs for the first time. The UK and American weaponry is an escalation in this war, giving Ukraine a longer, more accurate, and more powerful punch.

Some are now saying that World War III has begun.

Several European nations are getting directly involved in the Ukraine War, which is currently historic.

What will happen next?

Learning more and more as Putin tells us he will be launching more IRBMs into Ukraine as he “tests” his missiles. Will these missiles carry inert, conventional, or nuclear warheads? We don’t know. Nor will we know until the missile strikes some new Ukraine city. Nations beware, Putin is trying to outflank you intellectually.

Now we see the crash of Joe Biden and the Democrat Party. They are putting not just America but the world in danger. And they said Trump would start WW3. Yeah, we call this projection.

Scary. Russia’s President Putin asserted a right to attack western countries that give Ukraine long-range defense weapons to counter Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He said Russia would respond to further “escalation.” What is America’s response to this threatening rhetoric? Crickets. The scary part is not Putin’s threats but America’s current inability to act with clear strategic aims.

Mike, I do believe you are right. Putin is no dummy. He’s a survivor and a good one at that. Just look at his background. Just look at how he kept Russia 🇷🇺 together after the USSR fell and configured the country into a nation of crucial material exports. The problem for Russia, and Putin sees this coming, is the demographic collapse that is coming like a train barreling down the tracks toward a gorge with no bridge. There is no good future for Russia, IMHO, unless Putin throws in his lot with Europe and America. And that is the last thing he will do. He’s been betrayed too many times by the West to trust them.

It is hard to trust what anybody says right now. The news is being spun. And the news media has lost all credibility.

Do we have a stand off?
    Time will tell.
What will Pres. Biden do now? That I do have an answer. He will get ice cream and go to bed early because he has zero ability to make decisions any more due to dementia.

Kyiv said the nuclear-capable missile had targeted Dnipro, and while the Kremlin declined to confirm it had launched the strike it said it was doing everything possible to avoid a nuclear escalation.
The Russian missile barrage on the industrial city, which authorities said injured two people, is the latest escalation since Ukraine fired Western-supplied long-range missiles on Russia this month.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russian leader Vladimir Putin of using Ukraine as a weapons-testing ground.

Nothing like a nuclear capable missile(s) landing in your backyard to get your undivided attention. Russia, I think, did a great job of messaging. We might not like him, but Putin got the world’s attention just like he wanted. Now, what else does he want? Stop firing those U.K. and American long-range, highly accurate missiles into deep Russia. Will Ukraine stop? Good question.

Nothing like the free world being led by a dementia raddled narcissist named Biden to make us feel good that we can survive this.
