[May 18, 2025] I’ve always thought that shaming is a great way to push people toward good and moral behavior. Maybe that’s why I was attracted to Gas Station Encounters on YouTube, exposing thieves by showing them shoplifting.
I don’t know who narrates their shorts, but that guy has a job waiting for him on national radio. The premise of the channel is to show the faces of shoplifters who pilfer from this small gas station. And shame them.
“We have no shortage of shoplifters.” — GasStationEncounters
The Internet is forever. And having your mug for the world to see lifting candy, soda, or chips hopefully discourages theft. It is true that there are folks who don’t care if they’re caught stealing merchandise from a gas station, but most do, and hopefully, this exposure/shaming puts them on the right track in life.
I find the easiest social media app is YouTube to find their posts. They do have Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube accounts. Take your pick.
Some of my readers suggested I post about these Gas Station encounters—special thanks to Yusaf from Texas, Winston, and Nick Lighthouse. I do read the comments, even if I don’t always respond.
In an article by Fox8 titled “YouTube channel ‘Gas Station Encounters’ helping catch northeast Ohio thieves,” we are told that the owners and employees at this northeast Ohio gas station were tired of so many thefts at their mini-mart. The channel has become a sensation.
Brandon says all the videos are real and edited with a whisked flare by a person who asks not to be identified. Their stated goal is to make thefts stop and “perhaps entertain people” in the process.
I’m hooked. Check them out, exposing Gas Station thieves to shoplifting.

Sir, great article. Thx. Like so many here, I despise thieves.
Exactly. Shoplifters are scum. Like they drive up costs for all us honest folks. I watch a few shorts and they were good, especially the great narrator who speaks a hundred miles an hour and has a wonderful sense of humor. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
AMAZIN’
LOL, Gen. Satterfield is making our day with some great entertainment. I would think IMHO, that these folks caught on camera cannot be shamed by their dishonesty. Just me thinking.
……
And, sir, you’re welcome for the suggestion. Any time!
This was a fun article to write.
Great to see you still read our comments.
They’re not all crazy looking like what we see in the thumbnail, but they are all what we call “trailer trash.” Watch several of these videos and you’ll quickly start to see a definite pattern. This is northern Ohio, mostly white, so whites are there stealing in greater numbers.
