[February 11, 2026] In one of my earliest articles on this website, I wrote that leaders must have unequivocal clarity in communication. There is no substitute for doing so, not just in leaders, but for all of us. Every officer I have ever known in our military, and that of our allies, did their best to speak clearly and concisely.
Turning complex ideas into easy-to-understand words is not easy. Our language is full of ambiguity, unclear symbology, and changing meanings. As culture changes, speech evolves. Dr. Jordan Peterson says that is why freedom of speech is so important: to work through the miscommunication that inevitably occurs. We certainly do not want to muddy ideas.
However, muddying up ideas is a trait of some leaders. And they should be ashamed of themselves for their laziness or perhaps lack of understanding. Case in point, Kamala Harris, the failed Vice President candidate who was overwhelmingly defeated by President Donald Trump.
In the video clip below, the former vice president addresses the alleged “abomination” of requiring identification to vote. The U.S. Democrat Party protects illegal aliens as a core constituency without the need to put up a better argument than this.

If it’s nearly impossible for you to show identification, then you’re too uninformed to vote. Heck, the very poor in this country show their ID to get their public assistance every day. Democrats go to great lengths to justify their voter fraud-enabling scheme. And, it is a fraud scheme now openly admitted. Why even tolerate this?
I’m not yet sure if Kamala is incompetent or if something is wrong with her. The fact that she received approximately 75 million votes, despite not being able to construct a coherent sentence, remains baffling to me.
Leaders must speak clearly and concisely. There is no successful substitute.

Great example of how NOT to be a good communicator. ✅ If you speak stupidly or with too many words, folks might just think you’re either ignorant or trying to mislead them. 🤮 That was Kamala Harris’ problem. 👺She was trying to sound smart, but she was not. Everyone knew she had been given jobs well beyond her cognitive abilities. She just wasn’t up to the job, and we all could see this, the more she talked. 🤠 She was, in fact, the exact wrong person to be running a campaign, much less a nation. 🐎

Dennis, I think we can now look back at those times when she was the US Vice President and see how she could not communicate well (see this article as an example). Whether any of us are smart or ignorant, we must do our very best to speak properly. And, tell the truth, always. Or, as Gen. Satterfield says, at least do not lie. And when we do lie, we know we are lying. So don’t do it. The results will not be pretty.

Kamala Harris has not yet figured out that when you talk, make sure people can understand what you say. You can be a high-level genius but if you cannot communicate what you want, then you are not so smart or will you be successful. Kamala is NOT smart at all. But her followers (who are dumb) thinks she is. And mayb3e she is smarter than her dumb followers. 👀
Well said, Gen. Satterfield. And YES we should all be trying our best to speak properly. I remember reading one of your articles that said one of your generals asked everyone to stop using acronyms because they are confusing (sometimes one acronym means totally different things) and can create a massive misunderstanding. In combat, that’s certainly a serious problem. Thanks for this article as a great reminder, and you using Kamala Harris as an example of not being concise or clear is the best!!!!! 👍
Some folks are just too stupid to do it. And, I’m not going to extend my hand who refuse to work on themselves, to make themselves better. If they want to play the victim, fine. Let them wallow in their dumbness. I won’t be there when that tactic fails.

Kamala Harris, a great example of how NOT to speak clearly and concisely. Who would have known? She is a drunk. That’s part of the reason she’s cannot talk a conherant sentence. Go figure.
The fact she came so close to being elected as president of the United States is truly scary. She’s an idiot. And she is EVIL, just as much as her mentor Joey Biden. The corruption allowed by these two is staggering. They were only interested in making themselves more powerful. And where was the press? Oh, sucking up to them, and reporting breathlessly what kind of ice cream Joey Biden wanted that day. We have WWIII culture war ongoing in the world and in America, evil vs goodness, and where is the media? Out to lunch like always.
Nick, you’re exactly right. So scary that I’m shocked she came that close (even if she did lose big). How could she get 75 millions voteds? I think there was a huge amount of cheating like the Democrat Party does as part of their playbook.
It’s always great to have an example to look to. And Kamala Harris is it.
