Sunday Morning in Pictures XIX

By | November 30, 2025

[November 30, 2025]  Earlier this month, I was the guest speaker at the Marine Corps League celebration of the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marines’ founding.  I found it funny that the Marines would invite an Army Soldier to speak at their birthday, but hey, what do I know about humor?  And humor is my theme for today.  Like much humor, today’s “Sunday Morning in Pictures” contains some truly funny stuff for those who like low-level humor (secret: I do) that my buddies find roll-on-the-floor funny.  As a testament to my Army battle buddies, here are a few memes/cartoons to make their day.  Trigger Warning: Leftists could be offended.

Here’s something that I just discovered. Leftists can’t meme. What do I mean by that? It means Liberals/Democrats/true leftists cannot be funny. They can’t because they are full of hate and envy. That hate and envy scorches thier hearts and makes them hate the good in the world and love the Devil. They worship violence and believe that “the ends justify the means,” and any means is okay and violence is just a tool. This means there is no “good” in the world and their actions, as they believe in the hate, makes the better than everyone else. They can’t meme. They can’t be funny. They cannot be a comedian. Love your pictures, Gen. Satterfield……

Is Gen. Satterfield showing us his age with these pictures? Yeah, I think so. We all know he has 40 years in the US Army, so that makes him a tad older than most of us here who reads his leadership website. I hope he sticks around for a long time, regardless. Let us celebrate his efforts to publish an article every day. That is a measure of success in and of itself.

Hey, sir, why don’t you give us some pictures of you at the US Marine Corps League birthday celebration. That would be interesting. Did you wear your Army uniform or just a suit? Medals? I’ve never been to a military ball or any celebration, but knowing that you are particular about such events, I would expect it to be grand. That is one of the perks of being in the military or a veteran. I do salute our veterans 🫡 because they are the best to keep us free from outside dictators like in Russia, N. Korea, China, and Cuba. There are other dictators out there and they are mostly spending their time suppressing their own people. Maybe, just maybe, this is the year of freedom.

To understand all these “memes” or whatever you call them, you’ve got to be older than dirt, like me.

I’m “older than dirt” and I don’t get them all. I’ll add that you also have to be up on the news too. Like the mental illness craze called “transgender.” Or whatever. Mental illness grows in times of plenty. The Bible warned us of this and we didn’t listen. Great memes, Gen. Satterfield. Great selects today. And, just in case I forget (because I’m older than dirt), please have a Merry Christmas . ✝️. A Christian Christmas, of course.
