We’re Gonna Die Tomorrow:  Grrrrr

By | August 27, 2023

[August 27, 2023]  Don’t we all love the “world ends tomorrow” crowd?  I do!  And I love them because they are dedicated and 100% sure of themselves.  More comically known as Climatistas (after Marxist Sandinistas), these net-zero carbon emission folks are never honest about reaching their climate goals.  Mostly.  Turns out that one did let his mask slip just a little.

Leon Simmons at @LeonSimons8 on X has the personal mission “to understand & protect the home planet.”  Wow, that is the most incredible and noblest mission ever, and who could say no to that?  He is also an “Innovator, climate researcher, social entrepreneur.  Board member Club of Rome NL”  You can read about it on his X feed linked here.

I like his X feed.  It is always full of graphs, charts, and an analysis that “conclusively proves” mankind is headed toward mass global suicide.  But he was recently honest in a 25 August post where he said how we could read net-zero CO2 by 2050 if:

  • 8,500 coal plants stop burning coal.
  • We stop heating homes.
  • We stop driving the 1.4 billion cars in the world.
  • Planes stop flying 100,000 times a day.
  • We stop eating tens of billions of animals per year.
  • We stop shipping stuff.

Leon Simons got 69 likes (as of this writing) for his comments.  He might as well be recommending humans commit mass suicide, as any of these suggestions were implemented that is what would happen.  The man is truly on a mission.  You have to be very highly educated to believe the stupidest things.

Can we still ask, who is the real enemy of mankind?

There is a need to do better taken care of the environment but the way Leon Simons stays is off base. Several eastern states now have policy in place to bring own bag for shopping. No more plastic bag.. This is great ideal. I strongly believe in recycling . The concept of not wasting is in Matthew, Jesus took fish and 5 loaf of bread . He prayed for increase. There was enough to feed 5,000 men not including women and children. Told them to gather all the remain to fill 12 baskets.

Gen. Satterfield asks, “Who is the enemy of mankind?” First, thanks for saying “mankind” and not “humankind.” Second, the answer is easy, LIBERALS.

Democrats who want this should show us how its done. Pick any big city run by the Democrat Party (plenty to chose from) and implement any thing on that list and see how fast they reject the craziness. If it fails, it will be Trumps fault.

We’re all gonna die tomorrow! The classic liberal trying to panic everybody to believe their Marxist crapola. Run from any one who is a liberal today. They are certifiably insane.

    * We stop heating homes.
Now that is not going to go over very well. I can see the political leftists trying to pass laws where everyone has to shutoff their heat in the winter while they are allowed to keep their’s running. Yeah, that is going to work! /sarc
    Excellent article, Gen. Satterfield.
BTW, I read your book, “Our Longest Year in Iraq” and found it fascinating. Took me a long time to order it from Amazon but I finally got around to it, and I’m very happy doing so.

Great article, Gen. Satterfield. The doomsayers will never change, just show them for what they are and move on.

First, we laugh and ridicule them for what they are NOT and for what they believe. But remember that doing so will not change their minds, just convince those fence sitters that this is not a good idea to spout to the world because the world thinks they are fools. General Satterfield, thank you.

Yes, Well said, and the idea of not trying to convince these morons of reality is not a good tactic. I do like the idea of creating more sane folks and to eventually far outnumber the leftist crazies.

If we are to change the minds of the climate-change enthusiasts, we will not be able to do so by showing their hypocrisy or even when they tell the truth, usually accidentally. Climate Change, as it exists in the West is a religion. It is based on faith, not facts or science (even if they say so). The way to overcome this religion is to raise more people to never believe the crap.
