Caitlyn Jenner:  Governor of California?

[May 8, 2021]  I truly love sports.  Sports are the one actual area of human endeavor that rests purely on merit.  Athletes know that their performance is directly proportional to the effort they put into it.  Caitlyn Jenner is one of those competitors who are vying for governor of California.  I hope Caitlyn wins.1

Caitlyn Jenner was born male.  Bruce Jenner was a superb athlete, a football star, and later a decathlon competitor.  Bruce won the Gold Medal in the Olympic Decathlon in July 1976 when Soviet Union athletes cheated with drugs.  Not only did Bruce win, but he set a world record doing so.

By most measures in life, Bruce attained the golden dream.  He was a successful writer, auto racer, businessman, and television star.  He married and had six children.  Interestingly, Bruce was on the cover of Wheaties, “the breakfast of champions.”  Bruce is a champion.

Bruce is a competitor who wins.  But he saw something in himself that had to change.  I know nothing about “transitioning” from one sex to another, but he had to do it.  Caitlyn Jenner is just as competitive as was Bruce.  Some have said Bruce exhibited the courage to follow his heart.  He came out as a transsexual before it became trendy.

I do not condone what he has done to his body, but he is an adult.  He alone has had to come to grips with the issue with his family – a truly monumental task.  I cannot imagine the heartbreak (regardless of the denials) over his decision.  Bruce is now Caitlyn.

Caitlyn Jenner is running as a Republican vying for governor of California.  Caitlyn joins a long list of celebrities that have gone into politics.  These include Ronald Reagan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Clint Eastwood.  Being a celebrity is big, especially in California.

Caitlyn is running against the current governor, who is being recalled.1  Democrat governor Gavin Newsom is a failed politician.  Common among politicians like him, Newsom can run a state when things are going well but cannot lead a state in crisis.  He is also a failed and he is a corrupt girlie man who has been in politics for too long.

The petition to recall Newsom is official.  Caitlyn is his primary opponent.  Will Caitlyn be on another Wheaties box?  I hope so.

I would vote for “her” but not because she is trans bout because Jenner is not a fascist Democrat.

It is worthwhile, in this leadership forum, that Gen. Satterfield points out what is not obvious to those who read this blog on occasion. Those of us who read his articles daily know that it takes more to be a leader than just “wanting” to be a leader. Good “intentions” are irrelevant. Do something worthy of yourself as a leader and you are a success. Gov Nutjob is simply a failed leader.

This is why I read this blog regularly. If not, I lose my devotion to making myself a better leader and better person.

The last time a new governor was elected in a recall was Arnold S Schwarzenegger. And look what he became! California needs another Ronald Reagan. A man like Reagan could do so much for the state, yet they are convinced by propaganda that he would only be “racist.”

… and think themselves so smart and superior to us all. Insane asylum run by the inmates. Let them be.

I’ll just be sitting in my lounge chair eating popcorn, waiting on the election results.

My opinion is that California residents are so stupid they will re-elect their dundering, idiot sitting governor again. Proving once again that doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

It is their right to elect someone who does everything possible to make their lives worse. Don’t point out the guerilla in the room. They don’t ‘see’ it and are pissed if you tell them.

Me too. I like to see what happens when politicians can convince stupid people that he is smart and wonderful. Just like NY Gov Cuomo (who killed thousands with his covid politicies) who is loved by New Yorkers. Eh?

In a press release posted to Twitter, Jenner, a longtime Republican, said that she’d make a “formal announcement” in the “the coming weeks” and pitched herself as a “compassionate disruptor” who will campaign on “solutions” and “providing a roadmap back to prosperity” for the state.

Wow, different kind of blog post for this leadership blog. I would hope that Gen. Satterfield writes about how well she does as governor. Go Caitlyn!!!

“She” … I think the correct pronoun is “he” because Caitlyn is a biological male. I’ll call this person by just about any name they want but I don’t call a man a “woman.”

Don’t you just love Caitlyn Jenner? Like all leaders, what you’ve done in the past (to some degree) does not reflect upon you today. If you were great yesterday, it does not mean you are great today. Leaders must constantly prove themselves in the sports arena of sports and politics.

I don’t “love” her but I like what she is doing. Let no one misinterpret my thinking here. She is a person with a big-ass problem and that is she has to use strong drugs to keep herself to appear female. She is a biological man. Period. With that aside, let me say that it does take ‘balls’ to run for governor of any state. California…. Real real balls.
