[July 30, 2026] Is Dr. Anthony Fauci a failed leader? Yes! The sheer weight of the raw evidence of our institutions’ failure in the COVID pandemic is clear, and Dr. Anthony Fauci’s fingerprints are all over them.
What we all saw during the COVID-19 lockdowns, including aggressive government tactics, the disruption and warping of our institutions, the demonization of dissenting expert medical opinions, the impact on the mental health of tens of millions, the loss of jobs, and the documented deaths of over 1.2 million Americans (over 7+ million worldwide) leads to a simple conclusion: our medical and governmental institutions catastrophically failed us, often acting on the advice and direction of Fauci or his assistants.
Fortunately, thanks to the work of Senators John Kennedy and Rand Paul, we are about to get a good look at the thinking and actions of Dr. Anthony Fauci during that period. Much of that will come from the recently released “diary” that Fauci kept. More will come through an ongoing Congressional investigation.
Yesterday, I wrote that Fauci is a narcissist, a liar, and a publicity hound—I stand by that assessment. He can be fame-obsessed (and a scumbag) without legal repercussions, but when you lie to Congress, there will be consequences.
Let us not forget that President Joe Biden pre-emptively pardoned Fauci for all federal crimes committed between 2014 and 2025. Except for the time window, it wasn’t conditional. And part of receiving a legal pardon from a sitting president means that during any testimony before Congress, invoking the Fifth Amendment (for that time window) is prohibited.
But that is exactly what Fauci did during his appearance before a Senate committee yesterday. Pleading the Fifth, if done in good faith, implies that his conduct could be construed as criminal. However, it could be that Fauci does not fear legal prosecution but rather professional and personal embarrassment. That assessment would fit with his narcissistic personality. U.S. Senator Josh Hawley takes him to task:
Anthony Fauci has ZERO rights under the Fifth Amendment because Joe Biden pardoned him.
He got RICH while people were DYING.
He used federal employees with taxpayer money to apply for and solicit cash prizes
He needs to answer for it pic.twitter.com/ShaOCQzEDF

Senator Paul was clearly flustered by Fauci and offered a hint of what was to come. Paul said, “There would be repercussions to your refusal to testify today.” Let’s hope so. One of those repercussions would be that Fauci opened himself up to prosecution for obstruction. Perhaps Fauci committed crimes after his pardon dates, or his lawyers think there is some loophole in the pardon.
Regardless of how the investigation of Fauci ends, and the endpoint is a long way off, it is incumbent upon us all not to let this rest. It is crucial for us to give a full accounting of the gross leadership failures during that time to prevent future failures of this magnitude. And America must do a better job of protecting itself from itself. Government overreach was real, and the effects of that failure still echo to this day.
When a man in a position of great power allows himself to be diverted from his essential duties for personal gain, he has gone beyond his authority and become something no one wants: a fraud. That is what appears to have happened.
We must tell Dr. Fauci, “Let us see everything.” Otherwise, trust in “science” and in our main institutions that support it will be greatly damaged. And once trust is lost, there is a long road to redemption ahead.

Please read my books:

Despite his infuriating refusal to even defend himself, lest his answers lead to criminal charges, the hearing still served a useful purpose, albeit on a separate crucial matter. The release of Fauci’s diaries, written on government computers, is another painful reminder of how the mainstream media has cavalierly failed America over the past decade. You just can’t hate the mainstream media enough.
Great seeing Doktor Frankenstein — er, Fauci — back in the news. His presence reminded me of the insane restrictions that he “recommended” be put into place. And the quisling politicians, esp. Democrats, were overjoyed to do. And as soon as there is another scare, they will go back to masks asap.
Kevin, you got that right.

Take a good look at this chart made by Perplexity on total deaths in the USA from 2010 to 2025. It clearly shows a spike of deaths during the “pandemic” years. This is what Fauci caused, either directly or indirectly or both, and due to his hubris.
More from Gen. Satterfield.

“The CDC’s mission is to “save lives and protect people from health threats.” It failed. Further, the agency is now wholly politicized and is flailing around for relevance. Their actions have done the American people great harm.” – August 16, 2022 at https://www.theleadermaker.com/some-observations-on-the-covid-19-response/

Gen. Satterfield nailed it long ago.
More from Gen. Satterfield back in May of 2020. “The seriousness of the current COVID-19 pandemic cannot be overlooked. However, there is a small but building counter-argument that the lockdowns established and enforced by state and local governments may have been an overreach.” This is not over. I am confident that our Republican elected officials are going to tear off the scabs that protect this travesty. And Dr. Fauci is one of those scabs, along with Democrats and the media trying desperately to protect him (their hero).
The hearing coincided with the release of excerpts from Fauci’s pandemic diary, which reveal a staggering—practically Obamaesque—level of self-regard.
Gen. Satterfield, I’ve been reading articles and listening to the “news” about Dr. Fauci’s testimony (or lack thereof) and everyone seems to have an opinion divided into two parts. One set by Republicans who say Fauci is a criminal with a pardon but should be made to “tell all” so we can get to the heart of what happened and to thoroughly embarrass (and maybe harass) Fauci and the entire system (needing correction) that allowed it to happen. And the otherside of Democrats who beleive Fauci is the best thing that humans ever had working for them. Now that certainly cannot exist, both opposing viewpoints without an explanation (which I’ve not seen anywhere). Like Hitler for the Nazi’s; who was loved and reviled. But, if Fauci was so great, and he certainly thinks so, given his “diary”, then he and his supporters should be answering these questions, and without fear of further harrassment. In the meantime, Fauci needs to be raked over the coals until he fesses up and – like Gen. Satterfield always says – tells us a “story that needs telling.”
We see clearly from his personal diary (written on a govt computer, on govt time, and therefore govt property) that he was lying to Congress and to the American people. He was a “rock star” on tv ….. ha ha ha ha ha. Evil incarnate. Yep, I would love to see him spend the rest of his life in prison, but that won’t happen. The destruction this devil caused is classic evil.
Just let him go and live with his evil. Oh, remind him often. America, remind him everyday he is the devil.

Miranda Devine: Fauci’s silence on his monstrous COVID sins spoke volumes — and solidified him as a reprehensible villain

“What a cowardly and shameful final chapter for Dr. Anthony Fauci, who pleaded the Fifth 111 times in the Senate Wednesday even though he has a pre-emptive presidential pardon that gives him immunity from prosecution. In the history of Congress, only a couple of mob bosses have invoked the privilege more.”
As I understand it, Dr. Fauci did a good job with the HIV research for helping save the lives of many with this insidious disease. He opened up and allowed dissenters in that forced science to look at alternative views, ultimately leading to a successful end. In this case of Covid, he shut the door on all those who opposed “his” view of the path to “stop the spread.” He was wrong. And for that, millions died. He is a scumbag — thanks Gen. Satterfield — and should always be remembered as the man directly responsible for millions dying because he wanted fame and fortune. His picture will now go up beside other killers like Stalin and Mao.
Eddie, you are right, of course, but Fauci has made his fortune and fame. And that is all he cares about. Plus he has written a book that he ‘expects’ everyone to buy because “I am the science.” Actually he didn’t say that exactly but he will have it nailed to his epitaph.
Yep, D.r F . Is scum.
F him, sorry for my language. Much worse than the Nazi Dr. Menegel.
More technically Dr. Fauci is psychopathic, manipulator, machellevlian (sp?), and narcissistic. Imagine showing up with six (or 7) lawyers. One inappropriately sitting at the table with him, and got thrown out by Rand Paul. And I don’t think Rand Paul was shocked by Fauci’s 5th amendment tactic at all, although Paul might have been surprised. Fauci has developed himself into a cult with a large hyper-liberal following who think he can do no wrong, and literally saved the world. We know better. And until America gets to the bottom of this travesty, we will gain another future Fauci.
