[March 25, 2026] A UN judge and former Columbia University human-rights fellow has been convicted of modern-day slavery in Britain. Lydia Mugambe, the Ugandan activist who spent years posing as a champion of the oppressed, was found guilty of trafficking a woman from Uganda, confiscating her passport, and forcing her into years of unpaid domestic work and nanny duty.
The British court sentenced her to six years and four months.

Mugambe once held a fancy fellowship at Columbia’s Institute for the Study of Human Rights. She ran a project on “recovery through historical dialogue” for women and children in Northern Uganda. She sat as a UN judge. She was the very picture of the global human-rights elite.
Turns out she was also a slave owner.
The irony is almost too perfect. The woman who lectured the world about women’s rights in Africa turned around and enslaved another African woman so she could have free childcare and housework in the UK.
Columbia University, that great factory of progressive credentials, gave her the platform and the prestige with apparently zero vetting. The UN, of course, kept her on the bench until British cops and courts finally stepped in.
This is what happens when the people who spend their careers denouncing “modern slavery” discover it’s convenient to practice it themselves. The same crowd that screams about exploitation abroad never seems to notice when it shows up in their own households.
Everyday folks on social media have been roasting this one for days, and they’re right. The double standard is glaring. The left loves to lecture about human rights until one of their own gets caught violating them.
The lesson is simple: sovereignty and real accountability matter more than globalist virtue-signaling. When you import unvetted elites from places where this kind of exploitation is normalized, you shouldn’t be shocked when Western standards erode.
Mugambe’s conviction is a rare moment of actual justice. The rest of the human-rights industrial complex will no doubt try to pretend it never happened. But the rest of us won’t forget.

Crazy ….. 👀
“Shocking?” …. er, NO.
This is the very epitome of Liberal/Leftist/Stupid women. She was probably a teacher too. At one time teachers (and I was a teacher, so I know) were highly respected for teaching kids. Today they don’t teach. They indoctrinate. No longer are they respected. COVID also destroyed their status. We also see many teachers being sexual predators and making threats to the ICE and the US President on line; and do so publicly. So wrong. We have been witnessing the downfall of our primary education system for many years now. When will they ever hit bottom?
I personally don’t think anyone is surprised.
Hypocritical UN elite Lydia Mugambe preached human rights while enslaving her own African sister for free labor. This “judge” exposed the globalist farce: virtue-signaling from the bench, slavery in the backyard. Conservatives warned that importing unvetted third-world elites erodes Western standards. No lectures on colonialism from her—just raw exploitation for cheap childcare. The left’s human-rights industrial complex ignores its own modern slave owners. Real justice is six years behind bars, not endless UN reports. Sovereignty and vetting matter more than elite passports and fellowships. America First means rejecting these frauds who practice what they condemn.

Yeah, guys. Typical. Globalist UN hacks like Mugambe expose the rotten core of international institutions pushing open borders while exploiting the vulnerable. Basic moral principles demand accountability, not immunity for diplomatic elites who treat humans as property. Time to defund the UN and prioritize American sovereignty over hypocritical virtue signaling.
I’m looking around and don’t see any others holding slaves. Oh, except maybe in Africa. Or maybe Turkey. Oh, ….. SMH.
