“I’m an AG” Gets Arrested

By | August 22, 2025

[August 22, 2025]  When I first saw the bodycam footage of police officers arresting two entitled, drunk women at an upscale Rhode Island restaurant, I knew what would happen next. Most satisfyingly, they were handcuffed and charged. One claimed her entitlement by proclaiming, “I’m an AG.”

Repeating “I’m an AG” at least a dozen times represents an attitude Americans hate most: entitlement. Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan lashed out with the message that she is above the law and knows better than little pions like you, me, and the police.

She is too important to be inconvenienced by being arrested.  Besides, she’s “an AG” and can pull rank on the cops.

Ordinary Americans are starting to wake up to these young but highly “educated” adults who fill government positions by the tens of thousands. Of course, they think they are better than us.

The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. on August 14, a week ago, when Flanagan and her friend Veronica Hannan were asked to leave a high-end restaurant. Reviewing the police video, it’s not hard to see why they were asked to leave.

But they refused, and the cops were called.  The bodycam footage starts as Flanagan is wagging her finger at one of the cops, demanding they turn off their bodycams. She knows the law because “I’m an AG,” meaning she is an expert in law. Her friend Veronica says, “She’s a lawyer.”

To top off the arrest of “I’m an AG” Devon, Veronica goes into a full meltdown, screaming and running away, resisting getting into the police car. She acts the part of a madwoman. One of the cops tells the husband, “Can you get your children out of here?”  Dan, the husband, replies, “They’re two full-grown women and mothers.”

The two perfectly represent the narcissistic, condescending, arrogant, grandiose behavior that we all hate. The arrest made that all the sweeter. A little revenge on the upper, snooty class feels pretty good to most of us.

According to the police from Newport, RI, Flanagan and Hannan were charged with willful trespass, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. They were drunk, or so it seemed, but we all know that is no excuse for bad behavior. And it appears that Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha will take some punitive action. Most think that it will be a slap on the wrist.

Ladies, just grow up.  We’re tired of your childish tantrums.  The “I’m an AG” stick is not working anymore.

Thanks to Mairanda Devine of the New York Post for much of the content.

“I’m an AG” Gets Arrested —- each day, as I open my web browser, I find a new surprise when I enter into Gen. Satterfield’s blog on leadership. Clearly, this one is a lesson on how not to be a leader, but better yet, it’s a lesson on how to NOT get arrested by showing us exactly what two drunk women did to get arrested. But, I do think they kept their dignity (that’s a tad bit of sarcasm in case you cannot tell). The lesson? Don’t do this. If cops ask you to leave, then leave. Keep your mouth shut. Smile and walk away. If these two had done that, their AG – the real AG – would have to punish them. BUt that punishment is nothing that compares to them now being Internet Famous. Famous in the wrong way. HA HA HA HA HA

I’m flabbergasted. It’s a fake, I’m not flabbergasted that these two privileged women get drunk and do stupid things. Should women be allowed in AG positions? Look like we have an answer. Ack! They are …. well, the stereotyped butch.

Giving a bad name for women again. These crazy ‘boss babes’ ruin it for the rest of us. Too immature.

‘You’re Gonna Regret This!’ Rhode Island Assistant Attorney General Protests, ‘I’m an AG!’ During Arrest Caught on Body Camera https://www.mediaite.com/crime/youre-gonna-regret-this-rhode-island-assistant-attorney-general-protests-im-an-ag-during-arrest-caught-on-body-camera/
A Rhode Island prosecutor’s arrest was caught on camera Thursday as she repeatedly protested, “I’m an AG!” and warned the officer, “You’re gonna regret this!”

Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Flanagan was arrested outside the Clarke Cooke House restaurant in Newport, Rhode Island after she refused to leave the premises despite being kicked out.

Flanagan became confrontational from the moment officers turned up at the scene, with the prosecutor demanding that an officer turn his body camera off.

“I want you to turn your body cam off. Protocol is that you turn it off if a citizen requests it to turn it off,” Flanagan could be seen telling the officer in body camera footage, as her friend announced, “She’s a lawyer.”
Yeah, that works every time with the police.

The point Gen. Satterfield is making here is that we tolerate this kind of behavior too often and too leniently. Get tough on it and that kind of drunken behavior will cease. Oh, that husband is a wimp.

They are now Internet famous. But being young, many will treat this as “normal” and treat it too lightly. I say a week in the local slammer will send a damn hard, much needed lesson to these young, educated, “I’m better than you” girls. And yeah, “girls” is exactly what I meant to write. Women feminists have ruined the higher education system and here it is showing its ugly results, by pumping out narcissistic graduates.
