[September 21, 2025] The question many are asking today is whether America is in a Cold War with itself. The question is a good one because there are signs that this is so. The spark that set it off, like many wars, was the assassination of a political figure. In this case, the assassination of conservative Charlie Kirk set off outrage across much of the world.
Today, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time, a memorial for Charlie Kirk will be held at the Arizona Cardinals NFL stadium. Superbowl-level security can be expected, as the Glendale Police expect protectors. President Trump, VP Vance, and many high-level dignitaries will be in attendance.
Passions from the political left/progressives and right/conservatives over this assassination do not appear to have cooled. In many ways, we are seeing a worsening. Vigils honoring the late Charlie Kirk have been vandalized, students and supporters harassed, ICE facilities blocked, attacks on law enforcement have increased, and we also have mayors like Brandon Johnson of Chicago saying that “jails and law enforcement are a sickness that has not led to safe communities.”
There has been a steady diet of propaganda since the 1960s that labels anyone who disagrees with the political left as “Nazis, fascists, and Hitlers.” The solution to “save democracy” is to rid the planet of these evil people. Debate is not an effective solution. Hate them. Kill them. Riot. Murder. The ends justify the means.
With this sick mindset, and I do believe it is a manifestation of mental illness, there is a reasonable belief that this Cold War will not cool off anytime soon. The memorial today for Charlie Kirk is a poke in the chest to these leftists, and they remain agitated. Expect more violence and attempts to assassinate President Trump, who is the singular figure the left most despises.
The most recent firing of late-night “comedian” Jimmy Kimmel was another provocative act, as seen by leftists. To them, he was standing up for saving democracy. Taking him off the air was another attack on what they see as the “good America.” Fortunately for the political left, there is money to fund their acts, and it pays well. Is it George Soros? I don’t know, but Soros is certainly behind them.
This Cold War will not be fought in the streets or with armies. The war will be in the media. Leftists know the enormous propaganda power of martyrs. That is why they made such a fuss over the January 6th Capitol Hill event when they mourned over the death of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, despite the fact that he died of a stroke the day after. Or George Floyd. Or, the firing of employees who demonized Charlie Kirk.
What will happen next? No one knows. The “experts” are baffled. What we do know is this is a time of danger for America, and the path forward is debate, law and order, and the strength of our American values.

I don’t see this as a COLD WAR but a return to normalcy. We’ve been living through a hell thanks to Obama and Biden and their followers like the vile Kamala Harris. Will the war be mostly in the media? That’s a good point. The legacy media is controlled by the Democrat lapdogs. The new media is independent of political parties but sways Conservative (not so much Republican). Who wins will help determine the future of America and everyone knows it.
I also think there will be another assassination attempt within the next few months. The temperature has not gone done since Kirk’s death – if anything it’s gone up. With very very few exceptions, the left is doubling down, not stepping back. I thought the only Democrats that could possibly lower the temperature were the Obamas, but that ship has sailed already. Obama started this, and now we see him trying to step back and at the same time, he is doubling down.
To the left, Trump is a “fascist.” Just watch the words of Kamala Harris where she was captured saying so.
