The Decline of our Great U.S. Military

By | September 4, 2021

[September 4, 2021]  America has a woke military and it’s a joke of a fighting force.  Right now, thanks to the constant indoctrination of our U.S. military men and women on Critical Race Theory and other “woke” ideologies, we cannot fight ourselves out of a paper bag.  A once great U.S. military is no more.

I reported to a commander in Iraq on my first tour that was a tough SOB.  He hated me because I was with another unit working with his Soldiers.  Perhaps he was tired from the war, but regardless he pounded on me and my men relentlessly to get us to do more, faster, and effectively.  He didn’t give a crap about our feelings or what we thought.  Get it done, and get it done NOW!

“I’ll keep beating that dead horse, and although it does no good, I’ll keep beating that dead horse.” – Colonel Diana, Engineer Brigade Commander, Baghdad, Iraq, 2004

Now, that’s a real leader.  You may like him, and he may not like you, but he is all business and about winning a war.  Today’s pansies that pause to explain they are “in charge” of our military forces are not.

Kurt Schlichter nails it with this quote from a Townhall column he wrote a couple of weeks ago:

“Ignore those pictures of the Afghan army that our military senior leader geniuses spent 20 years and zillions of dollars on disintegrating in the face of a pack of glorified mountain banditos from the Seventh Century – the real story is that, finally, America’s fighting men and women are fully aware of the urgency of accepting and validating the trans experience. And it’s even better if said trans people are BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and People of Color]. Plus differently abled.” – Kurt Schlicter

How embarrassing to those of us who served honorably.  That affirmative-action hire, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, is a classic epic failure in everything he has touched since being appointed by President Joe Biden.  He was part of the failed implementation of the F35 jet fighter program, a new Navy carrier that can’t launch jets, an Army that put in place a simple physical fitness program, and on it goes.

Are you tired of failing yet?  SECDEF Lloyd Austin is just another pea in a pod of losers like Gen. Mark Milley, Gen. Michael Hayden (now retired), Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston, Admiral John Aquilino, and countless others.  No service is not untouched.  If you are a General or Admiral or senior enlisted member to any of these, you are “woke,” or you’re gone.  Simple as that.

What to do about it?  Easy, fire them all, invite a few back.  Eliminate the Pentagon and all the waste that flourishes there.  Remember that none of these “men” I mentioned have resigned or been fired.  They are examples of why we lose wars and are active agents in the humiliation of the United States.

Human behavior flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge. Plato
Biden wants his ice cream (desire), gets mad as hell if he doesn’t get it (emotion), and wants it now without excuses (knowledge).

Good one, Plato. Biden will be remembered forever as the worst president in American history. But, that might change if his VP Kamala ever gets in. She’ll give him a run for the money on how bad it can be.

I agree with others here, Gen. Satterfield, keep beating this dead horse.

Good set of quotes today, Gen. Satterfield. I went to the article by Kurt Schlicter in Townhall. Great words to read. This whole episode is terrible and the Democrats in Congress are desperate to cover up the greatest scandal in American history. And, their appendages, the media are helping.

Nick, you got the main quote from Gen. Satterfield’s blog post and everyone should re-read it. Makes complete sense to me. Lloyd Austin is the poster boy for affirmative action and what happens when we allow incompetents to higher levels of the government. Called, the PETER PRINCIPLE.

Yep, so true. Like don’t give a kid a loaded handgun. Don’t give anything that can harm people to Lloyd “affirmative hire” Austin. The man is the ultimate disgrace. Set back race relations decades.

Gen. Satterfield, please keep on “beating this dead horse.” Maybe after a number of times, leftists will get the picture and actually have some shame and humility. But it’ll be a long time before hell freezes over and they accept blame for this epic failure.

Lady Hawk, they don’t see it as a failure but as a great success. This is a psychoses that develops from lying to everybody and lying to yourself all the time.

Yep, don’t expect anything from a liberal but crazy ideas and a refusal to take responsibility when they fail. Which they all eventually do, fail. 👍 Gen. Satterfield, loved today’s article. I also love your website.

Quote hire, yep. Thanks Gil (below) for this quip on Lloyd Austin. And, thanks to Gen. Satterfield for showing us, once again, that when you take your eye off the ball what can happen. Now we have Lloyd Austin doing the tango with Joe Biden and fiddling while Rome (America) burns to the ground. Oh, I mixed a few metaphors but who gives a sh**.

Yep, the quota hire is getting his picture around lots these days. Good thing we will have a “face” to put to the military debacle happening right now in Afghanistan.
