The Greatest Civil Rights Issue: Update

By | January 20, 2022

[January 20, 2022]  I firmly believe that the greatest civil rights issue of the 21st Century is protecting unborn children from death.  There is no greater noble cause than to stand with the innocent.  There is no excuse not to.

My view in a post-modern world is wildly unpopular, and I openly admit it.  Many see my stance to protect the unborn as sexist and bigoted, uniformed and preachy, and proof of my moral inferiority.

“Protect the weak and the innocent and so be prepared to create great chaos and destruction.” – Dougism

Yesterday, I was disgusted by the news that New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed into law a “reproductive rights act” that legalizes abortion on demand up to physical birth.1

When the bill passed, video shows the assembly chamber erupting into cheers, with politicians and audience members rising and applauding the bill as if it were a great victory over a marauding evil.2

I believe we have failed our society when an automatic reaction to any pregnancy is fear and loathing rather than happiness.  We hear that a woman may fear she cannot provide for herself and her child to have a good life.  Yes, we all must do better.3

There are legitimate alternatives to abortion.  These were ignored in New Jersey’s new law.

There is no higher calling in life than to stand guard over the lives of those who cannot protect themselves.  I stand with the innocent.

—————

  1. The law also makes it mandatory that “all qualified health care professionals to provide pregnancy termination services in the State.” https://www.christianpost.com/news/new-jersey-governor-signs-bill-allowing-abortion-up-until-birth.html
  2. What is next? The recently defeated governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, openly advocated for infanticide.  https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/virginia-gov-supports-infanticide-of-babies-born-alive-after-failed-aborti/
  3. There is no lack of economic or emotional support for mothers with this fear. Times have changed from the dark days of unwanted pregnancies of long ago.  Pregnancy support systems are well-established and proven effective.  And those systems do not stop after the baby is born.

They don’t but there are enough people dumb enough to believe his dire predictions that they just fall in line with the latest ‘religious’ abortion pronouncements that make no sense but they just lap it up.

I’m glad that I don’t live in the commie state of New Jersey! Good luck with your man-child governor.

The Democrat Party is way off base on this. I would expect them to PROTECT babies. It’s all about ideology and nothing about people.

Not what anyone of us would expect. Democrats are about helping people (altho to the extreme) but in this case the opposite. What’s up with that? Why are they into killing the unborn? Makes no sense to me. Oh, the religion of “My body, my choice,” unless of course it comes to vaccinations and you will be put into indoctrination camps if you refuse to be vaccinated.

The March for Life is an inspiring, peaceful, vibrant, and joy-filled rally for women, men, and children from across our Nation. It is being held TODAY with activities starting as early as 11:00 AM at our Nation’s Capitol and our National Mall.

    Friday, January 21, 2022 Schedule:

    Pre-Rally Concert: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    March for Life Rally: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    March for Life: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    Rose Dinner Gala: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Human life is a God given right. Every year, Americans celebrate all life by marching on the National Mall and marching on Capitol Hill on the anniversary of the passing of Roe v. Wade which legalized abortion in all 50 states back in 1973.

People need to get real. Murder is simple. Justifying it by describing unborn kids as a “mass of cells” is insane. Oh, the idea “by body, my choice,” doesn’t hack it. It’s not your body and not your choice. Your choice was made to have sex and now you have responsibility. Hard lesson.

Nothing stands better than someone who knows what is important and protecting the innocent babies is the most important thing a good human can do. Whenever we devalue babies, we are doomed to walk arm in arm with the devil.

Putting the consequences for your choice/failure to be in control onto the tiny shoulders of an innocent other is vile. Its no coincidence that people without character focus on pigment and fickle feelings so much.

Like Ronald Reagan said ” Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world. A veteran doesn’t have that problem.” And here is a veteran that is willing to stand with Gen. Satterfield and promote life over needless killing of infants.

Wow, I’m with you also but sadly, I think we are in the minority. Vote out the demo-rats every time. Don’t let them push you around. Make a cogent statement about abortion and it being the main evil of our times.

Right, fail to protect the weak and innocent and you are next with your head in the guillotine. Care for those who cannot care for themselves. Doing so is what successful civilizations have done since the beginning of humankind. Those who fail to do so, cease to exist because it becomes a free for all. Tragic that this new abortion law was so celebrated.

Infancide is next. Think not? Note that Gen. Satterfield referenced Virginia ex-Gov. Northam who openly advocated for it. “Just make the infant comfortable.” And that didn’t get blackface Northam kicked out of office. What’s wrong with Virginians? Are they that immoral? Perhaps so.

Leftists don’t think so. So, how do we change their minds. Commenting here on this blog doesn’t solve anything. Are they all leftists? No, and don’t forget that. Many ‘conservatives’ believe abortion is okay. Change their minds first, then one at a time.

Leftists (aka communist thugs) don’t think this way, never did, never will. You cannot change their minds. You are evil, end of discussion. They are morally superior to you and will put you in jail for your thoughts if they had the power to do so.

I miss when Democrats were of the “safe, legal and rare” mindset. At least they could admit that if someone wanted an abortion, it was something bad. Now, they’re treating it like there it’s a right of passage for women; a normal part of growing up.

Problem is Blacks will never figure out that to the democrats they are replaceable with illegals who will actually work the low wage jobs they and we won’t. Productive workers indebted to the DNC. Kind of brilliant in a sickeningly horrible way.

I’ve heard the arguments for abortion and, yes, there is some merit to them — else they would not still be there, so we do need to do better. But today, these arguments are much much weaker. While the anti-abortion, pro-life position is stronger than ever.

This is not the place to debate the merits of abortion or its morality. Here we can discuss how political “leaders” continue to pander to the emotional needs of their citizens. There are times when a leader must stand up and say they disapprove of certain acts. Abortion should be one of them because it degrades our selves and corrupts our souls.

Yes, and I’m further saddened that the corruption of our state of NJ and nation continues unabated. Some say it’s for power, and yes that may be correct but I think its because they are rewarded and seen as great men (to approve abortion).

Scary that so many Democrats stood up and cheered. What does that say about our morals?

The ultimate form of voter suppression. We already know that the vast majority of abortions are with black women. They are using it as a form of birth control. Morals? Lack of respect for other human beings? Yeah, I guess not.

Good point Doc. Less blacks voting if you kill them off early. I go further and say that abortion is racist since it targets black children. RACIST NJ Gov Phil Murphy. Did someone say he was a Catholic? Wrong.
