[June 23, 2025] To be upfront this morning, I had not planned on writing this article about America’s strike on Iran for a few more days. Phone calls from a number of friends and acquaintances changed my mind.
The first call was from a retired construction manager, the kind of person who is known to be one tough dude. This kind of reputation doesn’t come easily. In a concerned voice, he asked, “Are we in World War III, now?” And the others were similar in tone, with concern and worry.
Perhaps I’m too jaded (or experienced) to have any emotional reaction to events happening on the other side of the world, even if it involves American military intervention. President Trump made a tough call because the repercussions from a rogue Iran are difficult to assess. Trump again kept his word that Iran could not have a nuclear bomb. As well, he threatened Iranian leaders about the consequences of hitting back at America.
“Iran is calculating the reality that planes flew from the middle of America in Missouri overnight, completely undetected, over three of their most highly sensitive sites. And we were able to destroy nuclear capabilities, and our boys in those bombers are on their way home.” — Secretary of Defense, June 22, 2025, Sunday morning
The U.S. is sending a clear message to the leaders of Iran and the world. Earlier, Iran’s leaders warned us that if America attacks, it could trigger “all-out war.” I’m not sure what this threat from Tehran means since that nation doesn’t have anywhere near such a capacity, and everybody knows it.
Importantly, this also sends a strong message to our adversaries, like China, Russia, and North Korea, that their actions are being watched carefully.
It is correct to characterize Trump’s actions as decisive, bold, and smart. America’s deterrence is back in full. Of course, this attack on Iran, as a symbol of America’s strength in its armed forces, can only have a positive outcome. Iran’s tactic of delay, defy, and deceive didn’t work out for them this time.
Many pundits, military experts, Middle East envoys, and Democrat Party political leaders will whine about the attack because they lack the basic understanding of how to deal with a violent, terror-supporting country like Iran effectively. Their past recommendations have failed. No one credible will waste their time listening to these people any longer.
When America speaks, people will now listen. These are not the years of Obama or Biden, who pandered to them by funding their government, and by extension, funded their nuclear weapons research.
This action is certainly not over. In a tit for tat, Iran’s parliament just voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, the vital shipping channel through which around 20% of the world’s daily oil flows. The move, which could block $1 billion in oil shipments per day, is likely to send oil prices soaring.
Trump has given the Iranians a short window of less than two weeks in which to negotiate and come to a deal. I think this is a good strategy. The last time Trump imposed a hard deadline, Iran ignored it. Then the Israelis began their attacks on the country, nearly decapitating the military and civilian leadership. Iran will not know what’s coming, except that it will be a surprise and big. Hegseth has given the Iranians what is expected of them to achieve peace.
When the enemy tells you what they will do to you, it’s best to listen. Iran had better listen.

Please read my books:
Sir, thanks for the update. I’ve been following the news and Iran’s leadership is not doing much other than pontificating about how mean Donald Trump is. And we are seeing the Lefties marching with Iranian flags showing their support for America’s enemies. Many of those in the not-so-peaceful protests are paid illegals who should be arrested immediately and deported. Or at least jailed until deported.
Iran tried to strike back but they were afraid of doing too much so they just lobbed a few missiles at one of our bases in Qatar and gave advanced warning. All show!
That is true. They are scared of President Trump and that is good for America. The pussy Democrats are just as scared of him and that is why they’re running around making fools of themselves.
Do the Libtard News Media (the infamous fake media) actually listen to what they say? I guess not, nor do that even read what they wrote yesterday that contradicts what they write today. Crazy. You’ve got to be the most incompetent and lacking in morals to be a journalist. Maybe they should try moving to Gaza or Russia or China – not as a tourist but as in actually living there. They won’t do it, of course, because their conscious knows all they do is lie. .
Gen. Satterfield gets it …..

Yes indeed! FYI, I hate the auto correct feature in my computer; always changing my words.
Yep, me too. You can turn off the feature.
POW! Got that right Gen. Satterfield. Good article. I’m glad you didn’t wait.
A crazy and dangerous world we live in because it’s run by weak men. And all of a sudden, the “no kings” rally is totally forgotten, Trump’s “snub” of not phoning Tampon Timmy Walz is totally forgotten and all of the lame-stream talking heads are in total melt down. Ha Ha Ha. 🤮
The “message” may be clear for us in the West, but not for the Supreme Leader of Iran. He’s hiding out somewhere in his secret bunker and telling his country to fight to the last blood drop. Yeah, how’s that supposed to work out?
Yep, too much craziness in Iran. I am however glad that most of their head nuclear scientists and a bunch of their Generals are now dead. The world is better off without them.
True, but it’s going to take a lot more killings than that to get this old man, who thinks he’s hiding out and not at risk, to begin thinking logically.
Recognize Evil when you see it. Read this older article by Gen. Satterfield.
“ Characteristic# 62: Recognizing Evil”

Recognizing evil however is not an easy thing. Many of us simply disagree what is evil. This is why great senior leaders are able to “see” evil early enough to help us all recognize evil and see it early enough to act.
Thank you for bringing up an old article. For those reading this website, it is incumbent upon you to do your own research of past articles.
