[September 28, 2025] One doesn’t need to be a keen observer to see that political leftists have turned to violence in advance of their causes. Some say the violence has become an epidemic. The real question is why?
Mark Steyn, in his article “When the ‘Nice People’ Want to Kill You,” writes:
“All that can be said for certain is that, if you live almost anywhere in the western world, violence is in your future. For the moment, it comes overwhelmingly from the political left and their various shock-troops, whether Antifa or your local migrant sex-fiends. Because the left are the most turned on by it. Even the comparatively peaceful ones can’t stop salivating over the thought of killing you. Here, for example, a perfectly nice respectable American lady – probably listens to NPR – has a grand old time beheading an effigy of Trump:”

As John Hinderaker notes in his post on this very issue, “I am not aware of any liberals who see anything wrong with this.” He calls these political leftists “liberals,” but I don’t think the term fits much anymore. These are leftist activists with a mission to stop President Trump by any means available.
Mark Steyn also notes that Kamala Harris’s appearance on the Rachel Maddow show is supportive of Harris as she describes Trump as a “tyrant” and a “Communist dictator,” among other name-calling.
“Is Ms Harris not worried that, by de-legitimising her opponent’s lawful, peaceful and democratic victory over her good self, some excitable types might try to, say, shoot his head off?
Aw, that’s crazy talk. Nobody would ever try to assassinate Trump. If they did, it would be in the papers, wouldn’t it?
Observe, by the way, Rachel Maddow’s reaction to Kamala’s tyrant talk. This interview comes mere days after one of her fellow current-affairs commentators and show hosts was gunned down on stage in front of his audience. Yet Ms Maddow betrays no suggestion that any similar peril might possibly await her. From her reaction to Ms Harris’s blithely insouciant dictator shtick, one might almost get the impression that live appearances are only dangerous for one side of the political spectrum.”
And, yes, this is true. Violence can become part of politics, and it has infiltrated the political left in ways not foreseen but have been coming for many years. We didn’t see it creeping up on us.
We still have not answered the question of why these leftists have resorted to violence and so quickly consider it acceptable.
If we turn to Dr. Jordan Peterson, he tells us that those on the political left possess traits that are more feminine and protective. This is a crude representation of his comments, but I think I can say that he believes the feminine breaks people into two groups: predators and infants. If you fall into the predator category, watch out.

The Democrat Party has yet to get under control the most radical elements of their party. This is a fatal flaw that they must reign in if they plan to win elections in the future. So far, they have done nothing despite the pushback regular Democrats are getting. For some reason that is unknown to common sense, the Democrat Party leadership has refused to act. This makes them complicit. Republicans should ram this message hard during any election. Now we see the Democrat Party as the party of hate, violence, and lawlessness. This will doom them and their chances to help reshape America.
They are not self-correcting. Why that is the case seems crazy to the average citizens. Why go off on stupid stuff like saying men and women are the same. But then insist that men can become women, and Vice versa? Are they thinking at all. Too many positions are contradictory. Too many of their ideas are insane. Then there is the blatant lying. Aren’t they embarrassed? Crazy.

We have unfortunately tolerated and often encouraged this political violence from the Democrat Party for too long. A correction is long overdue. The Biden Administration is the ones responsible for allowing it to get this far. Shame on Joe Biden, the worst president in American history and one who has done horrible damage that will linger for a generation.
