[February 14, 2026] In America, for the past few years, there has been a quiet movement afoot that will help determine the future of these United States. The movement is in opposition to the emergence of Sharia Law, as practiced in many nations. Ban Sharia Law is a movement gaining fast, in particular in the American South and Southwest.
One such movement is in the state of Texas. In their upcoming election on March 3rd, the citizens of Texas will get a chance to vote on ballot Proposition #10 which prohibits Sharia Law from incursions into the U.S. legal system. Such a pushback on Islam may seem unnecessary, but those involved in this effort disagree. Historically, their fears seem justified.

The Texas Ban Sharia Law website is informative. It makes clear that the imposition of Sharia Law is incompatible with the West, and America. Their position is not to be confused with the idea of banning Islam. Nowhere do I find the idea of outlawing the practices of religion, in particular banning Islam. Their effort is to prevent the imposition of Sharia Law in Texas, or anywhere in America.
“The Problem: Islam’s toxic totalitarian ideology known as sharia has been penetrating and subverting America for decades. Today, it is metasizing [sic] in Texas and, if unchecked, will – in due course – destroy our constitutional Republic. Practical steps must be taken at once to save Texas and save America.”
They call for a “Save Texas, Save America Campaign” to be mounted immediately. By doing so, they plan to educate the population about the threat posed by “sharia-supremacism” to defend the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms it guarantees.
What’s the plan to stop Sharia Law? They lay it out in four phases:
- Phase 1: Fully implement Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s pathbreaking designation of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) and CAIR as foreign terrorist organizations and transnational criminal ones.
- Phase 2: Inform voters in the March 3rd GOP primary election in Texas about the need for Proposition 10, which simply says “Texas should prohibit sharia law.”
- Phase 3: Build on the success of Proposition 10 to make “banning sharia” a voting issue in the November elections in Texas and elsewhere in the country. And,
- Phase 4: Strive to translate those electoral results into a mandate to put sharia-supremacism on the ash-heap of history – much as Ronald Reagan did to the Soviet Union after he sought, and secured, a landslide victory in 1980 on a platform of “peace through strength.”
Who are these folks that want to ban Sharia Law?

Sir, excellent! Thank you for highlighting this organization as well as the effort to keep Islam out of making and enforcing their own laws inside America. I don’t care that Islam is taking over Europe and Canada … which they are … but not here in America. I’m sure Texans are already fed up with them, and are ready to kick them out.
Elizabeth, agree. DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS ………… This fight could have been easily prevented by restricting immigration into America. But under lazy, slow Joe Biden, it was sadly encouraged, and millions of ILLEGAL Muslims entered the USA. Now, we have to put up with them trying to destroy our culture, rape, murder, steal, push us around. Should never be tolerated.
I’d like to see more state governors do this. Otherwise, they are determined to set their population for failure.
It is way OVERDUE to stop these Islamic crazy madmen from taking over. Our governor doesn’t mess around. You all know what we say? “Don’t mess with Texas.”
Let’s hope with all sincerity that Texas kicks ass and prevent Sharia Law from being any part of the state. That’s how they get their foot in the door, then have it “legally” accepted, then first thing you know, we’ll be having Muslim prayers in the middle of our streets, holding up traffic and interfering with our everyday lives. Oh, that’s already happening in NYC under their Muslim mayor.
If you’re Muslim, fine. Just don’t interfere with us. Or, there is going to be hell to pay. Thanks HAL. But Oh Canada is FULL of them.
There is nothing like allowing crazies into your neighborhood, welcoming them in, and knowing they hate you … a nutty way to think. That’s the liberal perspective and why never ever vote for a Democrat. That’s the party of hate, death, and destruction and have an affinity to the Islamic death ideology.
Islam is worse than a “cult.” It is all about conquest and death. No surprise here that it is now trying to take over the West. It has already succeeded in destroying many countries. Iran is just another example of a failed state, and in a few years will collapse totally. Let’s watch them fail, but not allow the seeds of destruction here. Of course, we have weak politicians here in America, so the citizens will have to fight off the radical islamists.
Let’s hope this catches on. About time!
