Hero: Professor Mark J. Perry

By | January 13, 2023

[January 13, 2023]  Heroes are those who risk everything for the well-being of others.  From the time humans first walked the Earth, stories of heroes have flourished.  Professor Mark J. Perry is our hero of the day and perhaps more deserving of that title than we might think.

Stories of heroes, like the hero I am highlighting today, have welled up from time immortal; they represent the best in us through the human traits of courage, strength, and honor.  These are ideals of human nature, and nothing can change our desire to embrace those traits.

When it comes to fighting for the right thing, Professor Perry is doing it.  He has been filing complaints for Civil Rights violations against universities that discriminate based on race and sex because, as he notes, it is against the law.  It also violates our American values.

Universities receive Federal financial assistance and are mandated by law to enforce Civil Rights laws, including Title VI and Title IX, as a condition of receiving those funds.  In addition, they must certify that they are actively enforcing these laws prohibiting discrimination against students, faculty, and staff on the basis of sex, race, color, or national origin.

Yet, colleges and universities routinely discriminate based on sex and race.  This is where Professor Perry rides to the rescue of those who experience discrimination.  Over the past four years, he has identified more than 1,500 violations.  Shocking?  You shouldn’t be surprised because higher education has become trapped in a spiral of pandering to any group with a voice and currently has celebrity status.  His complaints go to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

“In 2022 alone, the OCR resolved 170 violations of Title VI and IX at 97 colleges and universities based on my complaints…. If I were fighting for the civil rights of today’s most favored groups – women, BIPOCs, and LGBTQIA+s – and had 200 successful civil rights complaints resolved on behalf of those groups, I am confident that I’d be promoted in the mainstream media as a modern-day Martin Luther King.” – Professor Mark J. Perry

Now that is an understatement.  Most people would assume that the university bureaucracy would ignore these complaints filed by Professor Perry.  Fortunately, that is not the case.  When presented with incontrovertible evidence of sex or race discrimination, the OCR cannot ignore valid, legitimate complaints without being disciplined by Congress at some point.

Professor Perry’s work has largely been ignored in the mainstream press.  And no one should be surprised.  The reason is that nearly every violation of Federal Law benefits Black, Hispanic, Native Americans, or People of Color (BIPOC).  The evidence is clear.  And violations of U.S. Law continue unabated, at least until Professor Perry finds out.

For that reason, Professor Perry is our hero of the day.

Good to know that courage is still here and that folks like Dr. Perry (and Gen. Satterfield, of course) continue to show us what courage, strength, patriotism, and the antithesis of evil is about. Well done. This is my favorite website and is my “go to” every single day.

Bam, you got it Liz at Home. Yes, we do need to stand together and point out any tyrant for who they are. That is a moral duty not to be skirted.

Each day I come to https://www.theleadermaker.com and read another article and each day it is a total surprise what I will find. What is not surprising is that I will gain something important to make me a better person. Yes, I know, before others comment, I’ll admit that I read his latest book “55 Rules for a Good Life” by Gen. Doug Satterfield and can see it throughout his daily posts. Get a copy now and you will be happy you did. I’m on my third reading.

Yep. I’m like most of you here. Gen. Satterfield’s hero series should be made into another major area on his blog.

Academics are corrupt from top to bottom. They follow the same line of reasoning … compassion. But this ‘compassion’ is false because it always has the opposite effect that they articulate. Just look at how destructive boosting college enrollment with blacks ( a form of race discrimination) has become. Huh. Go figure.

I’m not going to college and I will be very successful in life, and I’m young and know it.

This article is about an education hero. There are very very few heroes from education because what they do means towing the Marxist party line. This guy is wllling to step out of that mindset.

Double standards from our justice system is showing up here. And now in the Dept of Educ. No surprise there either.

I think they did set him up. But note that the secret documents which were discovered before the mid-term elections didn’t come out until now. Hmmmmm, I wonder why. Maybe it was because Biden said he would again after his term is up and Democrats don’t want him to. This is how they push him out.

Never ever ever be surprised. Washington DC is a swamp. Someone needs to drain it.

Loved Dr. Mark Perry’s quote and the implication – which is true – that the media has double standards.

Got that right and I see that Marx and Groucho put the entire quote again in the leadership forum here. Good job folks.
