[July 20, 2023] Good news for all Americans. With the recent Supreme Court anti-race discrimination decisions in colleges, our nation’s long march to crush race discrimination has been revitalized. The winds have changed, and although the SCOTUS decision deals with college admissions and didn’t touch on employment, we now can see the argument is beginning to shift. And now, the arguments against race discrimination in colleges will quickly transfer to race discrimination in the workplace. America’s message should be clear, stop race discrimination, or we will stop you.
On July 13, 2023, thirteen state Attorneys General sent a letter to CEOs of America’s largest 100 companies, warning them not to engage in race discrimination and raising the threat of state enforcement.
“Last month, the United States Supreme Court handed down a significant decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. President & Fellows of Harvard College, No. 20-1199 (U.S. June 29, 2023) (“SFFA”). … And the Court reiterated that this commitment to racial equality extends to “other areas of life,” such as employment and contracting. Id. at 13. In sum, the Court powerfully reinforced the principle that all racial discrimination, no matter the motivation, is invidious and unlawful: “Eliminating racial discrimination means eliminating all of it.” Id. at 15” [emphasis mine]
What will be the immediate impact of race discrimination in big business? I think they will fight it. Already there is a large, bureaucratic business culture of embedded policies that is, frankly, nakedly racist in hiring, firing, promotions, and quality assignments. However, it is blatantly illegal and the reason for the July 13 letter.
“Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits racial discrimination in employment. It provides that “[i]t shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employer (1) to fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin;” or “(2) to limit, segregate, or classify his employees or applicants for employment in any way which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect his status as an employee, because of such individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.” 42 U.S.C. 2000e- 2(a).” [emphasis mine]
This is some of the best news we’ve seen for all good Americans in a long time. On the other hand, it is a shot across the bow for large companies and the race baiters in the media, and they will not take this without resisting.

Just stop racial discrimination. Simple, you would think but when you have so many progressive Democrats dedicated to racial discrimination (just like before the 1960s), nothing will change much, unfortunately. President Joe Biden has already said he was race discrimination to continue.
