Sunday Morning in Pictures XX

By | December 28, 2025

[December 28, 2025]  Christmas has passed us by and old Saint Nick left us with a few goodies.  More importantly, and for the first time, our household has a fake Christmas tree; it sure makes it easier to put on all our accumulated tree ornaments.  I do kinda like sweeping up all the dried up pine needles, as they make the house smell good.  This reminds me of growing up in Louisiana and helping haul in and set up our tree, as we waited for Santa Claus to arrive by sleigh.  Of course, all of us kids worried about how he was going to get his sleigh to our house when the temperature hovered around 60 degrees F.  It takes faith.  Enjoy this Sunday morning in pictures below.  I think you’ll get a good chuckle out of most of them.  Trigger Warning: Leftists could be offended.

Sir, thanks for another fun collection of memes for the end of the year. HAPPY NEW YEAR’s EVE. Tomorrow will be a new year and I”m ready for it. I have no “new year’s resolutions” and that is okay for me. I do plan on making myself a better person just as Gen. Satterfield is continually reminding me of doing. There are many folks here who are regular readers who also make great comments. And don’t forget to read the comments section for additional context and to improve your understanding. See you all next year.

LOL, a great set of “triggering” pictures. 👍 Sir, thanks for making my day. 😂 And for getting me to laugh a little bit. 😁. Others have said so, but I will also say it, please continue your “Sunday Morning in Pictures.” ✅ This is the kind of easy on the eyes article we can all get behind. 🤡. Thank you. 🕷️

Gen. S, why don’t you start “If you had one of these [fill in the blank], then you were a kid from the 1960s?” Now that would be a great way for folks to insert their fav toys/furniture/kitchen appliance/etc. Today’s pictures reminded me of all I had as a kid.

“Santa, after surviving Chicago again.” Now that could be a movie, oops, it is. Oh well. Now if only we can get the real, the best Christmas movies to play during this holiday period, without all the corporate money grabbing to “just a dollar movie”. Since I’m on movies, 🫟 when will Gen. Satterfield give us his “best” movies for 2025. I see in his Daily Favorites, that he does this from the day after Christmas — here it is …
